Logging out of the chatroom

When I try to enter the chatroom I get a message saying thatthere is a user already logged in under that name. How can "log out" under that name (leave the chat room) if I can't get in?
 
What you describe is a ghosting issue. For some reason when you last left the room, it did not register your leaving. So it sees you as still there, and when you try to log back in you cannot as the duplicate name function blocks entry.

The room auto clears these ghosted names after an hour or so. So if you wait a bit all will be well.
