Question: Can I pick this up locally (Union, NJ)? By locally, I mean any hardware store...

Lowes, Home Depot and pretty much any other hardware store should have them. There are different sizes. So, be sure to get the size that best fits what you're using it for.

You can also try places that sell marine equipment, horse tack, or go online to these guys.

I got one like that at a camping store somewhere. You could probably get one at Home Depot.

If you can't find one of those, you could always rig up a couple carabiners together. It'll serve the same purpose.

If you're using them for bondage, make sure they will support enough weight - be on the safe side and get them to hold more than double how much weight will be put on them.
