Since there is no reason why there WOULDN'T be such an assignment in a Crime class,
and since it WOULD be original (if not unfortunately titillating)
to find a tickle - crime of this sort to use for a class paper --

(the hell with those who weren't decent enough to PM you or original enough to think of this if/when they were taking a class that allowed for creative research... 🙄 )

Good for you for making your studies more interesting. I once put up a thread about real psych experiments in my college --- I never found out if they went through with it, since I chickened out,
or if the "experiment" was actually just to see who'd participate *knowing (thinking) tickling was involved ---

(that's why I put up the thread, to see if anyone would recognize that much & maybe let me know...??)

But there were definitely ticklephiles in my Psych Dept. who were allowed to at least "frame" their experiments within this topic, with who knows what excuse.... 😛 Whether or not it was actually done is (still a mystery 🙁 ) Although, the way that grad student looked at me, I suspect there was more to it... Maybe that was also his/their way of seeing who on campus would be *willing to be tickled... He was cute & seemed nice too... Oh well.

Shoe fetish man tagged for attack

Mark Barrie admitted spending hours looking in the windows of shoe shops
A man with a shoe fetish who ripped a high heel from a teenager's foot has been electronically tagged.
Mark Barrie, 35, from Perth, will wear the device on his ankle for three months and will not be allowed out between 2200 BST and 1000 BST.
He was also placed on probation and his name has been added to the sex offenders register.
Barrie admitted attacking the 18-year-old in January because he was "sexually excited" by the footwear.
He targeted her in broad daylight in front of other shoppers in Perth.
He claimed he had gone into a "trance" before pouncing on his victim and lying on the ground with his arms locked around her ankles.
'Out of character'
Barrie grabbed one of her shoes but dropped it and ran off when the teenager screamed for help.
After a fairly lengthy police interview he eventually admitted that he was the man responsible.
The kitchen-fitter previously revealed at Perth Sheriff Court that he would spend hours gazing in the windows of shoe shops.
When he was asked if his fetish was sexual, Barrie replied: "Yes, it does stem from that. It's obvious people like what they like - and this is part of my psyche."
Solicitor Ross Porter, defending, had told the court that Barrie had a long-term girlfriend and had acted "out of character" by grabbing the teenager.
He added that his client wanted to express how sorry he was for the attack.

FeatherMan, you mentioned women tickled against their will, and burglary. The closest thing I ever recall seeing to this was street attacks in New York City in the 1980s. A guy tackled women on the street, pulled off their shoes, tickled their feet, and then, stole their shoes.

I tried doing a search, and no articles came up. My best advice would be to see if you could get to a library, and check something like the NY Times archives from the 1980s. Do a search using the criteria I mentioned, or even, ask someone, and maybe they can help.

Dave mentioned some interesting points, and it makes me think of how I would handle it.

For example, my best friend's father is head of a library in the area. I've known him for 29 years. I could just see myself going into his library, and saying "Mr L, there was a guy in NYC who tackled women on the street, stole their shoes, and tickled their feet. I'd like to find out info about this guy". He'd probably be like "What the fuck".

The only other thing I can think of would be to do a search from your home computer. Type in "Forced tickling and women". or "Women tickled against their will", and see what comes up. Doing so in the privacy of your own home, won't get you outted, or in trouble.

Heres a big Thank you going out to babbles, Dave, Mitch, and proud. I appreciate your time in giving me advice and helping me find something for my class. As for the rest, it's ok if you think I'm lying, I do understand how this could be taken the wrong way and I should have maybe worded it better? any how, Everyone is entitled to their own opinions and I take everything into consideration that was mentioned on here. Once I do some more research and present the project I'll let you guys know how it turned out!

In his giving her a hard time trying to find out where all the money was he poked her in the ribs with the barrel of his pistol and got a ticklish reaction. He then tickled her ribs for awhile. Supposedly this was all caught on security cam tape which of course had no sound. When he stopped with the rib tickling he was seen saying something to her which caused her eyes to widen and she started struggling to get away. He then pulled her feet up into the air, took her shoes off and started tickling her feet for a long time while she went berserk the entire time. I think it stated she wet herself. Do not know if this is true and actually happened but it was written as such.
A response to that was another story of a burglar that broke into a girls apartment and wanted her PIN number to her bank account which she refused to give. He supposedly heated up a fork on the stove and used it to burn her to get the info he wanted. She still refused. He then took her shoes off and used the fork to tickle her feet and after awhile she gave in. Supposedly, even after getting what he wanted he continued to torture her feet with the fork until she almost passed out before he finally left.
