Looking to get my first pedicure!

Hey I'm a guy in my 20s looking to get my first pedicure, and get my feet in great shape for tickling.

I'm looking for the whole nine yards minus polish. I found a place that does soak, cut, file, cuticles, callous, sea salt scrub, cooling mask, and a generous massage for 1 hour at $40. Sounds perfect, doesn't it? I saw some reviews on Yelp and all positive but all for hair-related services.

Anything I should know about this place before I dive in? I want to be sure it's clean and safe, but how do I find that out? Any other first-time pedicure tips? Like do I need to wear flip-flops, should I shower before or after (sounds like a ridiculous question)?

Lol don't worry about showering. Your normal hygiene habits should be enough for a pedicure lol. They basically clean your feet for you before they do anything, anyways.

You don't need flip flops unless you're gunna get polish. In fact, to keep your feet softer, I'd wear socks with lotion on my feet right after.

Alllsooo....it tickles like a bitch, so have fun!

Yeah I've forced my boyfriend to go before and it was torture for him!
If possible I would go to a salon that focuses on just nails because you can get a better idea about cleanliness through reviews if you're worried that it might not be. 🙂
Some places give you flip flops at the end of your pedicure if you don't bring any.
But like ticklemyfancy said, if you're not getting them with a clear coat then you should be able to walk out in sneakers.
