Looks like Christian is going back to the WWE

As I have been reporting the past few days this week, Christian Cage is on his way out of TNA. He is even being written out of TNA by the TNA writers. They were prepared this time so they made a great storyline move that you will see tonight.

They are having the Main Event Mafia basically take out Cage. And they are supposed to be bringing up the WWE. They are making it seem like they are single handily kicking Cage out TNA.

TNA writers did this because of the big possibility that he is going to the WWE. And is seems like it is a reality now. The WWE are now holding off Edge's return so that he can come back with Christian.

Which will ultimately make Edge a face again. Cage's return also brings new depth to the tag division, which the WWE is trying to build up. Right now it is for the new WWE video game SmackDown vs RAW 09.

But they feel by promoting the tag division more people will like it more and more. There were speculations that Cage would return as an enemy to Edge and they would reunite their feud that Cage left off on.

But with Vickie Guerrero and the Big Show as the big heels on SmackDown, we may see them face at on moment, and then like they did with Jericho they will make him a heel a couple months after the return.

Of course Christian Cage was a big star in TNA and he will be even bigger in the WWE, especially now that he has been in TNA and built himself up as a World Title contender. He may even be a future WWE Champion, but we will have to wait on that of course.

Vince has wanted Cage back for a while now, and it looks right now as if he will get him. Cage feels the move to the WWE would be best for his family, and the pay would be just about triple of what he makes in TNA.

So we will have to see what happens, I'll of course keep you updated as much as possible. But right now it looks as if the newest addition to the WWE will be Christian Cage, I'll tell you when it is finalized.

OK, so this sucks for TNA. But seriously, I loved Christian in WWE and was ticked off when he felt so underutilized that he felt it better to leave. Edge and Christian together again has the potential to be amazing. I'm pretty stoked. 😀

I stopped watching wrestling when Christian was doing his 'Captain Charisma' thing. I've seen clips of him back then and I know I would've enjoyed him. Edge and Christian are my favorite tag-team of all-time and I really hope they have them return together.

Ah, but remember, Christian was never "canned" from WWE. It was his personal decision to leave and head for TNA after his contract expired. WWE offered to re-up, if I remember correctly, but he chose to walk away. In this version of WWE, in which the big muscle men no longer dominate, he may have a shot at a world title. It remains to be seen, but I'm hopeful that Captain Charisma can break through the glass ceiling.

I seriously doubt Christian would accept their offer (assuming he has) if that were the case. I doubt he'd go back to WWE unless he was assured that they had big plans for him. Wouldn't surprise me if he even has a world title guarantee in his contract somewhere. I hope so, anyway. Captain Charisma and all his "Peeps" deserve it. 😉

Yep. "Here comes the money". 😉 Well, if the rumors are true and they'd be teaming him with Edge again, he'd definitely be getting a push. Whether or not that leads to singles gold of the world heavyweight variety remains to be seen.

Christian is not a WWE gold continder he needs more mic skills unless he goes to ECW and takes on Matt which i could see that be interesting or perhaps a double belt TLC where you could have the heavywieght champ jeff and ecw champ matt and both belts on the line in a tlc match

Former WWE & TNA Star Heading Back To WWE

Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer reports that Travis Tomko has re-signed with WWE.

I know Travis visited a WWE Smackdown/ECW show in Atlanta after leaving TNA and spoke with John Laurinaitis then, and I understood he had visited other shows since. Travis had hoped for a regular spot in Japan, and was thinking of getting into MMA but neither happened.

TNA had initially left the door open to use him again and did once but creative had soured on using him for future dates due to issues when he was under contract.

No info on when he might start.

Obviously this will fuel speculation he will join Christian Cage again in WWE.

It will be interesting to see if WWE utilizes Tomko this time around. He became a good character in TNA. Now we'll have to wait and see if Christian follows.

Cage will get a big push when he first comes back, and I'd almost bet money that he will fued with Edge when he does. However he will be barried to mid-card statuse becuase he isn't 6'4" and doesn't way more then 230 if even that. It's to bad because he could have been a major player for TNA and even helped bring them to the top if he had been boked right. Things seemed ok at firse but it all fell apart around the time Angle showed up. I think they had too many big guns and not enough for them to do. They pushed aside a healthy Christian for a busted up Kurt Angle, who can blame him for leaving?

A friend of mine also heard a rumore that Vince McMahon might buy out TNA next year. I don't know if it's true, but it will be sad to see all that great talent being squeashed to put over WWE stars... oh wait thats what they are already doing.

- According to Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer, there is a new angle being inserted into Friday's edition of WWE Smackdown. The angle is that Jeff Hardy and his fiancée Beth were injured in a hit and run automobile accident in Cameron, NC, with Christian most likely being the perpetrator. Early word for the angle is that Jeff will be fine, but that Beth will be seriously injured, in terms of the storyline. The angle is said to be somewhat of a surprise, considering that Beth has wanted to stay out of the spotlight.

The report indicates that although Cage is backstage, he is not expected to appear on the broadcast as current creative plans call for him to make his Smackdown debut in the near future. The report claims Christian arrived with Val Venis, and was seen getting out of a car with him and waving to fans in the parking lot area.
