Loss of a community pioneer and friend.

To all the members of the TMF

It's with great sadness that I make you aware of the passing of a great friend and pioneer in this community. Through a mutual friend, I learned last night that Hahathna had passed away this past Sunday from a heart attack.

He was known to this community for his recent computer comics series and pinups, but more famous for his Legion of Superticklish Heroes website. He was a good friend from back in the days we were both in the comic book industry working on projects both in mainstream as well as this community. His love for comics and the tickling genre were unmatched. I'll miss him a lot.

My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and to everyone in the community that was touched by his generosity and good will.

When I hear more from the family, I'll pass on what information I can.

OMG, I just found this post. I'm stunned and so sad, I had also emailed with him in the old days and our love for tickling and superhero related art. He was really down to Earth and a great person. Man... I don't know what to say...
I will miss the guy big time, one of few people from the old days that I highly respected.

Thank you for passing on the information BZ. Such a loss not only to our community.

I cant really say i know Hahathna all that well past his art and posts here on TMF.

But i can honestly tell you this news has hit me pretty hard. I've been on this forum for a few years now, and have seen the many contrubutions Hahathna has given us here. A regular, A friend to everyone here.

He will be sorely missed. I'd like to believe that wherever he is now... he's tickling and enjoying himself to the fullest... he's more that earned it.

Memorial Tribute on TMF and Scholarship Fund

We should erect a Memorial Shrine for all the images they ever created here on TMF and maybe, if someone here knows how, establish a scholarship fund at an Art College in his name. Maybe some people here would donate. Just a thought. What do you all think? -Bob

That is rather shocking to hear. I actually got my first 'real' exposure to superheroine art from that site...

Indeed, he will be missed, and my condolences to his family and friends. It is indeed a great loss to our community, as well as art in general.
