I'm not quite sure. Annie took care of telling her about the project and asking her if she'd like to participate, so I didn't see or hear her initial reaction. I did get to talk to her on the phone, but at that point everything was pretty much decided already, so it wasn't new anymore. I assume she just found the idea pretty amusing.
Also , did you feel that since her mother was right there , that you had to kind of 'take it easy' on Annie a little? ... that the tickling had to be 'less intense' than some of the other stuff you've done? ... was there any feeling that you had to hold back on your part? ... how much mercy did Louise have on Annie ... if any?
Actually, it's the opposite. Louise was pretty sadistic when tickling Annie. I should mention that Annie isn't a very tolerant ticklee. I mean, she's very ticklish, but not insanely so, and yet she has a harder time taking it than some more ticklish models. At least, she complains about it more, and sooner.
Obviously, she was a willing participant durign the shoot, but not quite as willing as some other models, if that makes any sense. Let's say she was reluctantly willing. Anyway, she would get like she was reaching her limit (at least to listen to her) and ask us to stop, but Louise would simply ignore her pleas and tickle some more. Had it been a more standard shoot with an "ordinary" team of models, I might have stopped the action more often, possibly worried about going too far and having Annie get upset with me. I mean, I'm supposed to respect my models' limits (mostly). But here was Annie's own mom showing her very little mercy, taunting her and everything. So I kind of figured it was ok. Maybe it wasn't really, I don't know, I guess it's debatable. But I could see Annie was pretty much ok. Not having a very good time, maybe, but still able to take some more without too much trouble.
In any case, having Louise as Annie's partner actually allowed me to get more out of Annie than I would have had she posed with a friend. In a way, you could say that having Louise do this to her daughter and have a blast doing it kind of moved some of the responsibility from myself to Louise. It's kind of a grey area, come to think of it. Then again, it's not like most of the models I work with are thrilled about getting tickled, yet they pose willingly.
