We all do it... to ourselves and to each other. The ones who claim to be honest seem to be the worst liars!!

If you're a man looking at this post you should respond with what you think women lie the most about because it just may shed some light on a dark area. Same goes with you, ladies. If you're looking at this post you should respond in it with what you think men lie the most about.

I tend to lie more when people demand to know things about me. Like, when people insist on full disclosure in relationships. Even in a long-term committment, I'm still an individual, and I don't need to reveal everything about myself...and likewise, I don't insist on knowing more about my partners than they want to disclose.

I think that the men I've been with lie about the things they think I want them to lie about. I'm wary of men who insist that they did not notice the woman with the nice ass who just walked into the room. It's ok, we're all human, just fecking admit it so we can both admire her ass.

I think that the women I've been with lie in the same way that I do, to protect themselves.

Men lie about: How much money they make, how many women they've been with, what they do for a living, height...

Women lie about: Weight, age, appearance, how many men they've been with...

It's pretty much the same for both, I'd say.

Women don't really lie about it, but they're often really coy about what actually turns them on. Why can't they just tell us?! It would make life a lot easier and more enjoyable, too!

not everyone lies and there are honest people in the world.everyone is not the same so u cannot judge people on the actions of others.not everyone is bad ther are good people here dude.

In my experience, whether a man or woman, people tend to lie about things they're not proud of. Perhaps they have a crappy job and embellish a little to make it sound more appealing. Maybe they're 20 pounds overweight but still claim to be the "athlete" they were in college. I think this stuff is pretty normal and is most times understandable.

The only time I feel this poses a problem, particularly in our little world, is when one lies about their experience, true intentions, etcetera concerning meeting someone offline. That's dishonest and dangerous. Other little stuff doesn't really bother me.

I'm w/Gothfreakhell on this. IMO, it has little to do with gender.

Lying's a waste of time. Just makes things complicated and complicated's a waste of time as well (unless you're reading the Tivo manual - in which case it's totally worth it). Doesn't do anyone any good to kid themselves or someone else about anything really.

Just to add, when someone starts lying, it tends to have a snowball effect. Before you know it, you dig yourself a gigantic hole. 😱

Seems like lying has everything to do with gender and that most of the lies happening are going on in male/female romantic relationships.

i try to keep an open mind about everything and i tell everyone that knows me as long as you tell me the truth i will respect you more than if you lie to me, honesty no matter how hard the truth is tell me i would be hurt more by the lie than the truth because honesty is something i take very seriously i try not to lie as much as possible because thats how much the truth means to me, and i tell my friends all the time if you lie about anything that i take seriously i will find out its just a matter of time and when i call them on it i am giving them a chance to be honest with me i like to think that people can do the right thing i just have a great respect for people who can be straight out honest
