I know I'm probably speaking on the behalf of ALOT of people when I say it needs to be available on the iPhone 🙂

I have been on tmf for almost a year and have very much enjoyed my time, but now I'm working I don't Have ANY time to myself whatsoever, maybe if I could just come on safari and open the chat there on my way to work, or even open up a TMF chat App that would be amazing!!

Anyways I know if this was available I would definatly be satisfied and would be on here ALOT more than now.....

Please look into the idea as its a good one I think 🙂

Im 99% sure there is no iphone/android app for tapping into that particular chat program.

Its not our program so really what you would need to do is convince digichat to make something 🙂

I understand what your both saying, but then harabish - I don't use the digichat software out of all of us here, if you asked I'm sure they'd listen to the people running the actual website who's using their software, and not just me. You get what I saying? Loool

You use it as much as anyone else, by entering the chat room you are using digichat, to be honest it wouldn't make any difference who asked, we are one small forum who use their service, they aren't likely to create an app because a moderator from a forum asked.

From what jin said it seems impossible right now anyway, but if it ever were then the best thing you could do is get enough people to ask, and when I say enough, I mean shead loads, they would have to see a real demand to bother I imagine.

Well the iPhone is probably still fine isnt it - and actually I can well imagine digichat building an iphone app. It's not necessarily going to be too expensive for them and might just give them a competitive edge? Of course I don't log into chat anyway and certainly wouldn't want to be having a browse on the commute to work 😛 You little deviant hogtie!! 🙂

Hm, maybe switching to another chat software would be an option - so as additional benefit ongoing problems with Java and Proxies would immediately stop occuring - besides that the chat software could also be used on mobile devices. To me there are only benefits in switching.

One possible solution would be ETChat which is purely JavaScript and so should run on every mobile device supporting JavaScript (which every modern smartphone should do).
To you guys with the iPhones and Android based phones try out the online demo of this chat and confirm if it's working? Developing a special mobile style isn't a big problem.
