Mardi Gras tickle fest?

Ok folks, listen up...New Orleans needs your tourist dollars and this tickleboy needs your tickles!
What say if a bunch of ticklephiles come down to the Big Easy for Mardi Gras and we make it a gathering?

Mardi Gras day is Feb. 28 and the parades start about a week or so before that...

I'm coming down the 24th or 25th. I think we've waited too long to get any hotels but I'll be staying in BR with my buddies at LSU or possibly my buddies dorm at Tulane. Anyone know of hotels open?

Yeah, usually people book hotle rooms as far as at least a year in advance for Mardi Gras..at least if they're stayin in New Orleans. I'm not sure about other cities/towns, but with so many buildings either ruined or full (because of Katrina), that it'd be alot harder than before to find a hotel room.

Hell, it still might be that way a year or two from now..dependin on how much of N.O. is re-built and how fast that happens.

It'd probably be easier for the next couple of yrs to find hotels (although there are less of em) in places like maybe Mandeville, Covington, Slidell, etc.


Oh well, at least on the good side, with so many people gone, traffic won't be nearly as crazy as it usually is durin Mardi Gras
