When Gloria visits her recuperating friend Maria in hospital, her casted friend expects to be waited on hand and foot -- literally. As Gloria Cleans off Maria's toes with a damp cloth -- at Maria's request of course, Maria tells her she will probably be laid up for some weeks and that she expects Gloria to be at her beck and call.. Gloria is having none of this and she devises a plan on the fly.. The soft damp cloth massage turns into a tickle fest -- and Maria is rather poorly outmatched -- stuck in a stiff plaster prison with her sensitive sole and toes blasting out of it, completely exposed and vulnerable to Gloria's tickling fingers. Maria can neither get at her toes to protect them nor is she very mobile. In a tickle frenzy, Gloria goes for Maria's one good foot as well. Finally poor Maria gets the idea -- she cannot be expected to be waited on as a prima donna for the next few weeks -- rather, if she tries to pull such a stunt she will be tickle tortured into a stupor. So she gets smart gets out of bed where her feet are either in a shoe or on the floor and away from tickling fingers...
