Do most of the people in the members picture section go to the chatroom? I ask because I don't see many of them post here and wondered why they would send a picture and not post?

Posting

Posting is harder to do than just chat, lol! This is my first real shot at posting, mostly because it's mid semester and I need some non-educational activity!

I think Stitch has it right. "Posting" in a sense, requires forming a whole thought, and actually expressing that thought in a whole sentence. This is a phenomena that seemed to take place wayyyy back in the earliest days of computer bulletin board messaging, say 10 to 15 years ago.
For better or worse, however one views it, in our increasingly electronic and rapidly paced culture, we are evolving into a species which is ever less and less focused on whole thoughts; much more than bits 'n bytes.
