I can go either way on this. It all depends on whom I am tickling and what their limits are. When I sessioned with LoLo I tickled her non-stop and she took it very well until I started tickling her neck with long billowy feathers. She was only able to take a few seconds of that and safeworded out very quickly and I stopped immediately. That was so much fun and I could have really tortured her but I wouldn't do that. It was fantastic fun!!! When I tickle my wife we don't use a safeword because I know when to stop with her. She can only take a few minutes of tickling and since we are together for over 30 years I know her body and limits very well.

Nope. A successful tickling session, to me, is one where the lee cannot walk away from the bed afterwards. Nearly comatose, the only thing on my lee's mind should be catching her breath. Muscles feel like they're made of Jell-O, eyelids feel as heavy as lead, and words cannot be formed because her lips are stuck in a huge, stupid grin. Let's see... As a ler I'm usually more gentle unless its with someone who I know enjoys the full spectrum of the tickle experience. Sometimes I go witout mercy and use my judgdement as to when to stop, some I set up a safe word with.

When it comes to my ticklee side, I love every second. I've safeworded once and it was during my first ever tickle session; since then I've learned to love the feeling of being tied and tickled out of my mind... It's euphoric. That being said... I think safewords are appropriate until you're with a partner / playmate who you trust enough to not need them. Both as a ler and a lee.

As a ler, I'd want to be able to be merciless, so long as the ticklee was (somewhat) enjoying themselves. Likewise as a lee.
