Merja vs Roenna: Cat(fish) Fight!

This is what happens when you put a horny, young mermaid, an aggressive, adult mermaid, and a giant squid together in the same place.

This would've seemed a lot more unique had I finished it closer to when I started, but this fucking cold combined with other arts was just the perfect delay to keep me late to the party.

That's good work in taking Merja into your style, she looks great...if a little indecent. Though I do like Roenna's design, I like the blue color a lot.

I still feel terrible for starting my project on that quick notice after there was a request for mermaids, while you apparently had a half-finished mermaid picture lying around that you had put in the 'postponed' corner which was now glaring at you for not being finished. Never meant to cut you short or hurt your feelings, I like you.

Anyway, back to the picture. I'm extremely honoured (and surprised too!) by the fact that you have included my character there, only one artist has ever drawn one of my characters thus far (Jen by C_tickler) and you did a marvellous job on it! She's spot on and in your own style. Love it! Looks like she finally got (again) what she deserved for her horny fooling around, heehee.

I see you put her hair the way you liked it. 🙂

And about the comment above 'a little indecent'... *laughs* she's always nekkid like that. Thus far, that is. (edit: and for those who have read the comic, I've been known not to hide anything). ... Oh, and about the title ("Merja vs Roenna"), definitely looks like Roenna is on the winning hand. ^_^

Roenna looks stunning too. You should draw her more often! As I said back in the request thread; there's definitely room for two artists doing mermaids. 🙂

Definitely glad to hear that you liked this one. Don't feel bad about getting Merja out there so fast. In the end, I managed to get a mermaid pic done, so it might as well be this one. Besides, it's both my tribute to one of the fastest rising star artists in the community, as well as a bit of revenge for Roenna against Merja for beating her to the punch. I'm also pleased to know that you like how Merja looks in my own style. I find it fun to see how characters turn out when done by other artists, so it's cool knowing that, at least this time, you feel the same. 😀

Yes, I take that blame (already did too, above).

The truth about the 'boobage and the pussy' is that, although I like them (I'm a guy after all so no surprises there I suppose) it is not because of THAT that she's not wearing anything. When I designed the character I was thinking of sea-stars or shells on her breasts and something like a shell below... but I considered it 'overdone' and somewhat strange too. I mean, who says that mermaids would dress themselves? Would they be like modern humans and be ashamed of showing their body? The only reason that we (humans) are is that we're used to clothing. If we would all run naked all day, nobody would know any better and I would estimate that seeing boobies or a ding-dong wouldn't cause so much as a look, because it's normal. Anyway, so I thought that since these forums are for adults and because tickling for most here has a fetish background I could very well go with the 'natural' way and not dress up the mermaids. She might learn a thing or two from humans though - and you can probably imagine that she'll be surprised to see humans react to her body... not just her tail.

I also don't get the honour of my characters being featured that often (there's been only 2 pictures containing my characters thus far). I tend to do it the other way around on a regular basis. In fact, the next Merja page will have a guest-star on the background. Multiple actually, but one by another artist.

So yeah, keep up the good work!
