Michael Jackson dies at 50 from cardiac arrest

Eh... I don't think his drug use was much of a secret.

I do think, however, that your signature pic is completely hot.

It's not surprising that he was on something, but for him to just suddenly drop dead out of nowhere, especially when he seemed fine, getting ready for a world tour, is kind of crazy. I don't see how you can say it wasn't surprising.

And hitting on me in a thread about the passing of a musical legend, is kind of sick.

Don't flatter yourself. I said it was a great pic. But since you can't handle a compliment, I'll go with my first inclination to label you as a bitter pain in the ass.

FYI, Michael was a fantastic performer. He was a great musical artist. He was also a weirdo, long suspected pedophile who paid off his victims, and a guy that fled the country the instant he could. I didn't personally see him do it, but unlike the rest of the sheep who mocked and bashed the guy for years and now jump on the media bandwagon, I don't find it hard to believe, either.

Please don't take that as a compliment.

I wasn't flattering myself, you were. And frankly, it kind of made my stomach turn. Funny how you switched your attitude so fast though. Not sure how you came to the conclusion in the matter of a couple minutes that I'm a bitter pain in the ass. I've probably talked to you, what, about 2 or 3 times? At any rate, this isn't really the place to be giving compliments on peoples' signatures or throwing insults between members. It's inappropriate in the very least.

Again, I am not surprised about the drug issue, though it has not been announced that that was the cause of death yet (probably is, though). And yes, he was a weirdo, most likely due to an abusive childhood and lifetime growing up in the spot light. I always liked Michael Jackson's music and image. So bandwagon or not, he was a legend.

For God's sake.

I'm 15 years older than you. Married. Baby due in 5 weeks. If that's your idea of someone hitting on you, you spend too much time online. The red and green, contrast of the photo, and the somewhat sultry look makes for a nice photo. I've always thought you're sarcastic, opinionated and quick to jump on people. But that doesn't mean you can't take a nice photo.

And Michael Jackson was a peerless superstar musically and performance-wise. Unparalleled. That also doesn't mean behind closed doors he was squeaky clean. I didn't care about that when he was alive, and I don't care now. I have my own problems. Never met the guy.

Ah, Hollywood eats it's own. Over and over.

R.I.P. Mr. Jackson. We're looking at years of conjecture on your demise up here...but you can fill us all in on what really happened when we get down there.

Rick that is in bad taste...are you suggesting he is in hell? i always believed in Michael's innocence...he was bizarre, strange, eccentric yes..but he himself stated that he felt more comfortable around children than adults..i never jumped on any bandwagon now that he is dead though...i remember Ryan White's funeral, and thinking to myself...Michael is there for publicity...unlike Elton who was with Ryan as much as possible..i haven't always liked Michael..i found his behavior odd to say the least...but his behavior was HIS business..not ours..the fact he continued to have little boys over to his ranch after it was suggested that maybe he cool it, shows me he was not a pedophile..how quickly society loves to put labels on anyone different than themselves..he went to trial in 2005...he chose to sit thru a court case, rather than pay off any body...that shows something to me..although i can remember again thinking he was acting a wee bit when he showed up in court in his pajamas...but that never proved he was guilty...just strange yet again..and i love how that ass Diana Diamond is showing her face every damn place she can...when during the trial she acted as if she had a personal vendetta against him...i could smack that smirk off her face...she goes on any news network now that she can..

Let's please keep this thread on topic and not let it deteriorate into personal attacks. None of us who weren't there will ever know exactly what happened between MJ and his accusers, and no amount of name-calling is going to change anyone's mind.

Sorry, Isabeau. You're right. I could have just as easily said "while we're down here and you're up there" and I didn't, and that was indeed disrespecting the dead. My bad.

No problemo Tibblerino..who can say where anyone goes after they die? i'm only sure of Hitler, and maybe Saddam as being in Hell..

And Stalin... Mao... 😛 why always Hitler? Plenty of monsters in history.

You're right, it is amusing that birds of a feather, flock together. I'm curious, when you reference "thugs" is that because Michael Jackson is black or that anyone who arrested for a crime is considered a thug, even though he was acquitted. I wish individuals such "Darth Vegeta" would spend more time using his computer to chase down facts instead of using supposition to slander someone.

A few examples:

In New York during the 80's, 5 (Black & Hispanic) kids get arrested and convicted on rape charges. 14 years later, they are found innocent because their DNA doesn't match the evidence from the crime scene, once word gets out a witness comes forward. It's then proved that one man did the crime who just happened to be in jail for murder and rape. The DA doesn't want to admit a mistake and believes they are still guilty because in his mind (just like yours), all black people are guilty regardless of the facts. Eventually all the kids, now men are freed.

or

Jerry Miller who on October 1, 1982, Miller was convicted of rape, robbery and kidnapping. The Innocence Project took on Miller’s case in 2005. After DNA testing excluded Miller, the Cook County State Attorney’s Office had to vacate and dismiss Miller’s conviction on April 23, 2007. That's 25 years of his life behind bars because an all white jury found him guilty. Hey, black man & dead white woman, he must have did it. The perpetrator’s profile was also entered into the FBI convicted offender database, which implicated another man "Robert Weeks". Weeks is currently facing charges in several other sexual assaults.

In the last few years, 200 people have been arrested, prosecuted, convicted, and sent to prison for years (14 of whom had been sentenced to death), eventually to have their innocence established by scientific proof. 200 people who served a total of 2,475 years in prison, almost one million nights, for crimes they did not commit. Over 80% were Black or Hispanic, and when jury members were interviewed from these past cases, they admitted they found the person guilty, not because of the evidence, but on the theory that because of who they were they most likely did it.

My point is this, people can say what ever they want, just use facts. Calling someone a child molester and proving it are 2 different things. Like OJ, he was guilty as hell and should of rot in prison for that crime, but when you allow a famed corrupt police force, a crime scene run by the keystone cops who screwed up all the evidence, an overzealous DA and your investigation in run by a well known racist detective, you don't need to be rich or a celeb to get off on all charges.

P.S.

I guess you were wrong "Darth Vegeta", i didn't need to insult someone to make my point. After reading your opinions on race and going though many of your old posts on the subject of tickling, I'm curious, do you use just a White Hood or an all White Sheet to cover your face. Just a thought, my brother...

Yeah, it's amazing how many 'innocent' men are in jail. As my friends in prison ministry say, just ask them, they'll tell you. Just like my wife's rapist was 'innocent.' But then again, he didn't have to worry about all those flashbacks she had.

Be careful how you throw the race card around. Being white and saying something negative about someone of a different race doesn't make one a racist. It means they have an opinion. I've worked with blacks that were so racist that they put Klansmen to shame. There's plenty of that sin to go around to all the different races and cultures.

When I see posts like yours, it reminds me of a line in a play I was in called "The Living Last Supper" where we all portray one of the 12 disciples. One line spoke by Judas Iscariot has always stuck with me. "My heart is not as black as you may think, and neither is yours so white..."

Remember what happens when you point a finger at someone...there are three more fingers pointing back at you. Let he that is without this sin cast the first stone...

I've heard say that rather than professing innocence, a lot of convicted criminals actually like to brag about what they did.

I am mindful that some of these sociopathic types do love to lie (witness unrepentant serial woman-killer Ted Bundy pulling the wool over James Dobson, himself another kind of sociopath). I am also all too aware that what passes for "justice" here in the Land of the Free is all about money. Mafiosi notoriously get off scot free with their overpaid attorneys, innocent but poor folks who rely on inexperienced lawyers or public defenders often get prison or the noose even if someone else did the crime of which they were convicted. There's this documentary called "The Thin Blue Line". It's about a man in Texas who because of a malicious prosecutor and inadequate legal defense gets convicted of a particularly brutal murder while the real culprit goes on a spree.

Only an enlightened individual would truly understand what it means to be a racist. If it looks like a duck and quacks like a duck, it's a racist duck...

First, saying something negative about someone of a different race does make one a racist, mister "The Hawk". Example, "if you see a black person on the street, be sure to hold your purse real tight, they all steal." Got to watch out for all those theiving black reverends, they all come out after church. Sorry, such a statement would make you a racist, deal with it.

Second, yes I agree with "The Hawk", there are a whole lot of racist blacks, hell I have a few in my own family. I put those ignorant fools in the same group as anyone who talks, acts and behaves in a racist manner, they all can kiss my behind and take a fast train to hell. The people on this planet have too many problems to deal with and we don't need to be wasting time on any of these inviduals. I rather spend my time on those who want to learn a better way of getting along.

Third, 200 people have been arrested, prosecuted, convicted, and sent to prison for years (14 of whom had been sentenced to death), eventually to have their innocence established by scientific proof. 200 people who served a total of 2,475 years in prison, almost one million nights, for crimes they did not commit.", what part of that didn't you understand. These men were not freed because they begged to get out, they were freed because in each case the white prosecutor (and yes i checked) was forced too admit they were wrong once the DNA evidence came back to clear them. Using your own personal situation mister "The Hawk" is pretty bush league, especially when i never declared that everyone in jail was innocent. Next time why don't you read my post out loud, it would help you understand the meaning of the words i used.

Finally, a fool like Al Sharpton throws the race card. It's what a loud, attention grabbing nut does when they can't make an intelligent point. Like those who claimed Jar Jar Binks to be a racist character. He wasn't racist, just annoying.

People can post anything they like, just use facts. When we went to war in Iraq you had people throughout the country calling french fries (freedom fries) and french toast (freedon toast). Well guess what, they were not invented in France. I always joked that these idiots should have given back the Statue of Liberty if they really wanted to stick it to the French. The point is, that whole affair made us look like uneducated twits and whenever i see such ignorant post, i will respond in kind.

Comment is free but facts are sacred.

You should prolly chill or your post's are gonna get pulled bro.

And Stalin... Mao... 😛 why always Hitler? Plenty of monsters in history.

well yes but you have to admit Hitler was one of the worst monsters in history..an interesting fact about him and Osama Bin Laden..both had only one testicle..Hitler lost his in a dare when he was about thirteen years old...a goat bit off one of his testicles, while he was uh doing something with his penis lol..and Bin Laden reportedly was stabbed in one of his testicles with a fork, during a beating he was administering to one of his many wives...what does that tell you? Men with only one ball are forces to beware...

p.s.....why does race have to enter every issue anymore????

You should prolly chill or your post's are gonna get pulled bro.
unless we are related, in a frat or you happen to be black, i wouldn't be using the word "bro". i don't know you, you don't know me, use my user name or nothing at all...

not too worried about getting pulled, i read the rules and if there aren't different standards, then there shouldn't be any problems. i call things like i see them, facts and not opinions is how i roll...

hear hear!
no matter what your opinion of michael jackson is, this thread was started because he died. we shouldn't bicker about racial issues. yes being racist is bad, and yes getting facts wrong is bad, but put your differences, and opinions, aside for once and keep this thread for what it's for...

I got this e-mail today, "100 facts about Michael Jackson". One of the alleged factoids listed was that Jacko was very ticklish. Any proof or disproof?

I'm going to unsubscribe from this one. I hope the mods will keep a close look on this one. It's clearly one of those 'sensitive' and easily derailed ones.
