Unfortunately I will not be able to attend this time. This has nothing to do with anything other than finances and prior commitments in October.

I live in California and my father lives in Texas. The first week in October is his 70th birthday. My sister, her husband and kids live 2 hours away from him. If I am going to go traveling and spending the money it is going to be to see him and the rest of my family for this 70th birthday. I would feel bad if I ditched him just to go play for a weekend, plus I already told him I would try and make it out there for his birthday long before this was announced as the weekend. With my brother also considering coming out at that time it will be a family event that I cannot skip.

So folks I may see you in 2007, but unless I come across huge piles of money I will not be able to make it out there for the gathering.

For anyone who may be getting the wrong impression from all this blustering and crap-talking, I left wrestling with males behind me on the high school wrestling team, and have no desire to literally wrestle with NT. I'm sure there'll be those there who will be ever so much more fun to wrestle, and while they might not squeal like a little girl the same way as he does, I'm certain that their reactions will be ever so much more gratifying. Not that there's anything wrong with M/M wrestling, of course. 😉 The tiny little homophobe in my brain just felt the need to clear that up for the kids in the back row. :manicd: We now return you to your regularly scheduled smack-talk, already in progress. 😀

Well, given that I have decided NOT to move just yet, and continue my lease on my apt, I am leaning far closer to actually attending the party. My next obstickle (pun intended) is my automobile. My lease ends Nov 1 on that as well, But as I like to say, You only live twice. (That's be a good title for a movie!)
So, pencil me in!!
