Wade Keller of PWTorch.com is reporting that Mick Foley has agreed to contractual terms with TNA. He will be able to debut with the company once he's contractually allowed to do so. His WWE contract expires at the end of August, but I'm not sure whether he has a 90 day non-compete clause or not.

TNA just had tapings last night, so it will still be a little while before he could possibly show up on television (of course, this being only possible if he doesn't have a non-compete clause). They have a pay per view September 14th that could be an option, but there's no word yet on how TNA plans on using Foley if and when he does show up.

I used to love TNA but they screwed up the Angle/Samoa Joe fued so badly... hell they messed up the "Joe thing" so badly that it's right up their with the Invation Angle on Vince's side of the line. Like you say Japp this has potential to be great, but any company that would pay Pacman Jones to stand on the ring apron, refuse to give Gail Kim a raise after all her hard work, and (again I say it) screw up the Kurt Angle/Samoa Joe fued is probably doomed.

Then again they might make Foley head booker. That would probably be a good idea considering he would be smart enough to book for skill and not for politics. I don't think to many people could scare Mick, and even if they could, he is a very respected guy in any companies locker room.

Foley as a booker could be tremendous. Otherwise, I just don't trust TNA to use him wisely. This is a company that has already dropped the ball on the likes of Ron Killings and Gail Kim, so I'm not holding my breath.
