Midsommar May Queen Tickle Ceremony. ff/f Nudity.

Hello folks

I would have enjoyed the film Midsommar much more if there had been fewer mallets and more Florence Pugh with no clothes on being tickled.

In this version, once the May Queen has won the drunk girl dance contest she is given some more psychotropic tea, this one makes her more highly ticklish than she is already and actually makes her tickle from the inside.

The Queen's attendants also drink the tickle tea, tether the new Queen to the Maypole then the whole community laughs along with her as she is tickled out of her mind by bouquets of flowers and the trained ticklers' deft fingers.

Having been ignored and shunned for so long the Queen is delighted and delirious to find a group of equally ticklish women who will tickle and laugh with her night and day during the Sommar Tickle Festival.

You can probably tell that there are more lithe young invitees currently being tickle sacrificed to death (figuratively, of course) in the sacrificial tickle temple in the background.

Haven't seen the movie, though I understand it resembles "The Wicker Man" (the 1973 original; I haven't seen the remake, either) in horrific tone.Yeah, I think it would resonate with me better if this kind of pagan ritual was happening onscreen! Lovely floral theme! The young lady must feel truly blessed!

Very good movie, but the Nicolas Cage remake is a cringefest. A funny one, granted, but I'd recommend getting drunk first, because if you value your time, you might prefer the original instead 😀 I remember watching that smoking pile of steaming manure and telling a classmate the next day that I wish I could get back the 90+ minutes I had spent with it. Although to be fair I still enjoy shouting "HOW DID IT GET BURNED???!" a lot, which I guess can be put to the film's credit.

The original is awesome, really. A surprisingly clever and atmospheric piece with CHRISTOPHER LEE in it. I have a bit of a man-crush on him, and this is one of his best roles

I can't help but agree. So does Lee himself, according to interviews. Lord Summerisle is reportedly one of his personal favorite acting parts. It sure gave him a lot more to do than just bare his fangs and snarl.

He was great as Dracula, but then again he was great in all of his films. I do agree with him that his part in The Wicker Man was more groundbreaking than, say, Dracula, but as to say whether his performance as Lord Summerisle was his best, I will leave him the sole judge of that ^_^
