FF is an abomination that needs to die. I even filtered out the word final fantasy (I now find that word offensive, so please, don't ever use it or I'll slap you), and it still came up! well mexico isn't exactly as old as sumeria, so it may be both. I read alot of stuff about ancient demons and shit, so, it might be running together on me! I don't know. Yeah man...final fantasy bored me too. I don't understand it..

About FF... I liked the Front Mission saga - it is related to Final Fantasy without the fantasy stuff and the RPG veneer.

It is just a honest mecha game. You can fiddle with the mechas, outfit them however you want. And you can even decide the hull colour.

Same thing as Armoured Core, minus the action, so I get to enjoy the mecha details.

Who cares if it's off-topic, it's my thread. Lol. I liked Armored Core. That was fun. Mech stuff with live action, although, the action could have been better. The bots were too clunky, and the AI was programmed too well to deal with you.

Its mecha designer also did the Macross movie and anime series - another inaccurate and pointless tidbit.

The very same mechas from Macross the series were used for the earlier edition of Mechwarrior, then Fasa broke up with Harmony Gold, and opted to remove all the older mechas to avoid lawsuits.

Mechwarrior series is nice and all, but subpar considering what they could cram into a "puny" psx.
