A disappointing loss for the Chiefs last night, and Mahomes owns this one. An otherwise brilliant performance negated by 5 turnovers, three of them leading to 21 Rams points. It's hard enough to win against even an average team turning it over that many times and against a high octane offense like the Rams, well, we all saw the results.

Something about last night reminded me of the New England game the Chiefs lost. In that game they went 75 yards for a touchdown on three or four plays and left too much time on the clock. Same thing last night on their last score. It's exciting watching your team score so quickly but sometimes you have to grind out first downs and run off time. Lesson learned I hope.

However, despite what everyone's saying, that game last night didn't feature the best team in the NFL. I think the Saints are the best team right now.

Mahomes learned and bounced back from the New England loss. I'm sure Reid will sit the young quarterback down and discuss the game with him. He'll bounce back from this one too.

How big was the Oakland victory over the Chargers on Sunday. It kept the Chiefs in sole possession of first.

I agree with BBGuy5240. While the Rams and the Chiefs are good, New Orleans is definitely the cream of the crop in the NFL now. That hurt to say.

Right now the Saints have the edge on defense. On the other side of the ball I'd say it's a three way tie or close to it.

At home or on a neutral field I'll put the Chiefs up against any team in the league. And if the reports about Eric Berry being back for week 13 are true it will be a big boost for the defense.
