WWE vs. TNA is just a matter of hours away. It's startling to believe that it's been since March 2001 since we've had a choice of wrestling to watch. 2001!!!

I've never been a real TNA fan, but I will watch both shows tonight, eager to see what they each will do. I'm a big Bret Hart fan, so it will be awesome to see him again! I'm also a Sting fan, so I'm sure he'll be trotted out on TNA (there are rumors that he could appear on Raw tonight, but I don't believe that...but I would LOVE to see a Sting vs. HBK match!)

Regardless of any ratings, the fans are the winners tonight!

Ill flip back and forth a bit. im sure Raw will blow away TNA in the ratings tonight with Bret hosting.

I'm definently giving my attention to Raw. Bret's return to the WWE is huge. I'm sure I'll flip to TNA when Raw is on commercial.

Picture-in-picture was made for this. Whoever is on that I want to see gets the "main view".

I don't know how things looked in the first hour, but it looks to me like Raw was crushing them in the 2nd hour. Mark this down on you calinder as the my last night watching wrestling ever. I still hate McMahon, and TNA sucks now.

Well, that TNA show certainly felt like a WCW show....with the old philosophy of 'throw shit at the wall and see what sticks'. I hope Dixie Carter has got a plan, and this stuff isn't being done of the fly......

To me TNA won the night here's how it broke down to me, even though I DVRed the night I felt that this what I would have been locked into:

TNA: Jeff Hardy's suprise appearance in TNA was a shock although I kinda figure that's where he was going after he criptically said on smackdown after his last match "We'll see each again soon"

The NWO reunion was pretty cool, Bishoff, Hogan, Waltman, Nash and Hall (who looks terrible, just goes to show you what alcohalism can do to you if you're not careful)

A lot things going on keeping me locked in and the main event was outstanding. AJ Styles vs. Kurt Angle for the TNA World Heavyweight Title dare I say could be a canidate for match of the year.

WWE: Cool to see Bret Hart and Shawn Michaels in the ring together and put the pass behind them, but other than that, really nothing, Kofi Kingston vs. Randy Orton a okay match, DX vs. Jeri-Show was great, it seem to me that if you have competition on the other dial you might step it up a little more. Bret Hart as guest host really didnt do anything. It was more about putting '97 in the rearview than anything else.

But it looks like TNA doesnt have the balls for the fight as it looks like they're going back to Thursdays, just checked my cable lineup for the next two weeks and TNA is getting bumped backed to Thursdays, one monday is UFC, got no problem with that, but Star Wars? You're telling me that TNA can't keep their slot because a Star Wars event?

It's really sad, I thought that TNA did pretty good last night, but it looks like it was just one night only which is sad to me.

They were planning for it to only be one night. They'll likely have more shows on Monday in the future.

To me TNA won the night here's how it broke down to me, even though I DVRed the night I felt that this what I would have been locked into:

I was getting excited for the opening match, but then it ended in a DQ (WCW style) and I was very unimpressed. I hope they don't make this a habit. That was one of the most infuriating things about WCW!

The NWO is beyond played out, so they need to do something else! Anything that can be done with the NWO has already been done in WCW and then WWE. I hope this is just a swerve that won't last long.

Why, exactly, was Ric Flair there?

Sting (whom I am a big fan of) was up in the rafters again?? Again with that gimmick???

I want TNA to be successful, I really do. I hope they will be, as it will only benefit us, the fans. Healthy competition is what drives people...the WWE hasn't had any competition in almost a decade, that's why it has become so stale.

If TNA is serious about being a success, they can't become WCW 2.0. There was a reason that company went down the drain!

The thing about TNA here wasn't to beat WWE in the ratings, despite various people involved hamming it up about this aspect. The point was to make a splash and get people interested in TNA as, despite apparently being the second biggest wrestling establishment around, its name isn't as well known as it could/should be. By making all these stunts tonight, they've done some random stuff designed to get people curious enough to tune in next time to see where it goes. Whether or not it was successful in this, we'll have to wait and see.

I wonder when TNA is planning on "Hulk Hogan vs Jay Leno 2"?

Or maybe they'll give David Arquette the title belt again?

I miss Paul Heyman's ECW.
