morality question

I can't speak for anyone else OJ, but I pretty much assumed that that's the stance you had taken from the start.

I could have been even clearer in my view, I think, if I had caught all the misspellings. Shite.

But I'm guessing that just paying for tickling, with no sex involved, is not prostitution. [/B]

and you'd be wrong (in many states, if not all).
you are paying a person for touching ,that constitutes prostitution.
if anyone here still doesn't get it, why not call your local states attourny's office, and ask?!?!

I'm just not convinced I'm wrong. My state defines it as paying for a sexual activity. So it would come down to whether your area is going to consider tickling a sexual activity, or not. If the case never came up, then it's undecided.

I do not think it is wrong. Why?...well look at the definition of prostitution:

prostitution

n : offering sexual intercourse for pay [syn: harlotry, *****dom]
The act or practice of engaging in sex acts for hire.

If no sex has been *discussed* or acted upon, nothing has been violated. Ticking is NOT sex. The only reason cops are able to bust people before the act is because they engage in the direct discussion of sexual favors in trade for cash. Tickling does not fall in that category otherwise massages would be against the law too. It is a service that does not violate the sex act.

peace out,
daddy

I think (personally) that the **real reason** prostitution is illegal (and maybe this has been brought up already), but the fact for the most part it's an underground market, and most of the time, do not report on taxes.

Same way w/drugs....the war on drugs is really, in part, because of the loss of revenue collected in taxes.

Psychodrama

In NY, using the term "Psychodrama" can get you the phone numbers of mistresses and subs who specialize in all sorts of things right out of the local yellow pages - especially in NYC. Professional Dominitrixes, fetish consultants, and psychodrama counselors are not considered prostitutes by letter of the law.

Its kind of like sexual surrogates not being considered prostitutes because their sex-for-hire falls under the category of legitimate therapy.

So, check your local yellow pages and see what you come up with. 😎

I haven't read all the replies, just the first page, so this may have been brought up already. In the movie Deuce Biggalo (wow tell me I didn't butcher that spelling lol) at the end when he's in court for prostitution, he gets off the hook because he never actually had any kind of sex with any of the women. Now before anyone says anything, I'm aware that this is a FICTION movie and you couldn't go before a judge and say "well Deuce Biggalo didn't get in trouble for it!" Just the first thing to pop in my head 🙂

I'm not entirely sure what the definition of a sex act is, but in MY humble opinion, I believe it is ANY act that gives you sexual gratification.
If shaking hands gets you off, then that would be considered a sex act. To YOU!
I could be wrong, but, as I had indicated earlier, it is only MY opinion.

Yeah. You're definitely wrong. 😎
But, the problem isn't the purpose for which you would hire a prostitute, per se. The problem is convincing a judge that you just paid $50 to a known prostitute for the sole purpose of shaking hands. Therein lies the problem with hiring street walkers for any type of activity. You could legally hire a prostitute to decorate your apartment, but if Vice catches you exchanging money with her in an area that is known for prostitute activity, you're getting arrested, period.

You need to find a professional Domme or Sub. Since we're NOT talking about sex, why involve yourself with people who specialize in SEX. Find people who specialize in fetish activity. Its legal, and much safer.

Great Question!

This is a very good question, & to be honest I myself have thought & wonder about this very same thing. The only thing I can say is I'm not sure. I may have to agree with Tickler Bart. Any act of sexual gratification it could be wrong. If anything it is good to know that some of us are thinking alike.

Thank You,
LBFT

I have to say that this is an excellent suggestion.

i too read the suggestion to go to a dom. i on the other hand advise against it. doms/subs are into the more painfull aspects of the bdsm world, and suck at tickling. back a few years ago i tried several doms in the chicago area, and everyone was piss poor at tickling.
a couple of call girls that i tried on the other hand, were quite ticklish, and very good at tickling back. call girls/escorts are more into the "softer side" of human relations, and are more adept at plesant touching.
take this for what it's worth.

Ah that is true from your POV Steve, but unlike me you're a switch-hitter. I don't think it takes much in the way of creative technique to lie there and shriek with laughter, so any one "enthusiast" would do for me. 😉

I read the comment as pro's within our community anyway, not thinking that it might have meant one from the leather and whips brigade.
