Last pic of May and her mother together. ( for Mother's Day anyway). but don't fret. You'll see more of May's mommy showing off her feet as the warm months progress.

I understand you had to make mother clearly different from daughter.
Don't you think that a grey mane is making her look way older than she's supposed to be, though?
I agree with Kalamos, and I was considering telling you the same thing eventually if I saw this choice of color more than once (meaning now).
Its totally up to you of course, but the grey hair makes her look too old and haggard (unless this is what you want). I suggest giving her a lighter tone of her daughter's hair color. This usually works well for older characters, as it allows them to look old enough to show their age somewhat without having to base the age (visually anyway) completely on the hair. Its suggested but not harshly implied.
By giving a slightly duller or toned look to the hair rather than straight out grey, you can achieve what you're probably looking to create- an elder female who still has her looks.
Of course, I am immortal. *Reveals behind a curtain, Daemonette strung up to a machine similar to a gyroscope. Turns on the machine, and brushes along the gyroscope move along Daemonette, tickling her.*
She writhes She writhes with mortal pangs,
and her laughter is subdued,
by the chasm of Journia's design
Her future is milieud.
