i remember my grandmother used to watch L&H back in the day when i was a kid 🙂 and i used to enojoy the Stooges with my uncle on an almost weekend basis! 😀

I love all of those clips! 😀 Laurel and Hardy are the greatest comedy duo of all time in my book. After Stanley retired, he lived in a one bedroom apartment in Los Angeles and was listed in the phone book. When people would call he would usually invite them over, serve them tea or coffee and pose for pictures. The world was a very different place in those days.

If you can find it, read "Man on the Flying Trapeez" by Simon Louvish. It's a great bio of W.C. I know you can grab a copy on Amazon for cheap. A week or so before he died, a friend dropped by to see him and was amazed to see Fields reading a bible. The man said "Bill, what are you doing"? W.C. replied, "I'm looking for loopholes"
