I am SOOOOOOOOOOOO friggin sick of SNOW!! UGH! Almost all of our snow was gone, then we got hit by a foot of the crap. Yesterday almost all of that new foot was gone, and now today we're getting buried in another blizzard that has already dropped about 8 inches on us since last night. And it's STILL coming down as heavy as pouring rain! AAAAAARRRRRRRGGGGGHH! We have a 6 hour drive to make tomorrow. After our accident last weekend, neither of us want to drive in winter relation conditions again anytime soon! Blech.

Hey, same here, several thousand miles away. We had massive snowfall last week, between 15 and 20 inches within two days, and that's right in the city center! Normally, we've only got a few inches downtown, but this year it's too much. Crazy weather!

London did not get any snow over the Christmas period and beyond, but I heard a blast of Arctic air will bring some snowfall down these here parts. Hal, I think most of Europe has been affected by snowfall, even Spain (I'm going there 5 weeks time!), and the UK's about to be hit next. Gee, 2 months too late, I reckon. Funny, 2 years ago in the UK, it was unseasonally warm. Oh how the weather changes. Maybe there's a hot summer on the cards...

GRRRRR! For the second time this week, my plans are going to get all screwed up due to snow. As most of you who know me are aware, my best friend Russ, who works in the post office, has his day off on Thursday. He also had a night off this past Sunday due to the holiday. Well, after that one getting screwed up due to the snow, I heard the original forecast, which was fine for tomorrow. Now this morning I get up and hear that Lancaster is going to be on the fringe of a winter storm that will produce up to four inches of snow. Twice in one week? This is ridiculous! 😡 🙁 I cannot wait for this winter to end! While we havent had any major blizzards, I have already had both my mom's bday and my own screwed up due to snow, and now several days out with my friend. GRRRR! I hate winter!

Well, the snow is coming, and apparently they think it will definitely show up, as there is a Heavy Snow Warning in effect for Lancaster from 8am today until 2am Friday morning. They say that anywhere from 6 to as much as 9 inches will fall. All I can say is that it can snow all it wants, as long as I retain my power, which was lost for 9 hours during the Christmas day 2002 snowstorm that produced 9 inches of heavy, wet snow. The solace today is that this snow is expected to be light and fluffy, and stay all snow, and not change to ice, sleet, or freezing rain which will accumulate on the power lines.
So, bring it on! Let it snow all it wants. I'm ready. I know that spring will be here soon enough!

Well, for the third time since last Sunday, Lancaster is going to get blasted by snow. There is a Winter Storm Warning now in effect for Lancaster from 5am tomorrow morning, until 1pm Tuesday, which is a pretty long time. The forecast says that a minimum of 6 inches will fall, with as much as 12 inches or more if no changeover to rain or other wintry precip occurs. Snow for the 3rd time in a week? Wow! Hopefully this will be the last of it.
