Mother Kills Her Daughter's Rapist By Setting Him On Fire

You know, throughout history, revenge acts like this have been the norm, and human society has struggled to replace them with something else.
We can lavish praise on the woman, but if her case were the rule and not the exception, we'd be living in chaos, having to watch our asses constantly. It all sounds just until someone accuses you of something.
It makes a cool story and honestly I'm glad the fucker's dead, but I'd hate to see this start happening left and right. If the court system thinks at all the way I do, she'll do jail time.

that's the problem with feeling things and having emotions, they're IRRATIONAL and often lead to stupidly complex and jeopardizing situations, such as when you act rashly because someone punched your wife or if you're picturing yourself as the accused being immolated by an angry woman who thought the best recourse was to turn you into a flaming moe's

stupid humans, why do they always have to act out on emotions?! i know that's what makes humans what they are, but stupid humans! i'm trying to do my math homework and find the cure for aids...in my own...lazy way, you'll see, i'll show them!!! my cure for aids while sitting on my ass looking for chicks to tickle on the internet!!!!! stupid humans get in the way by making things emotional however, grr emotions

I don't like it anymore then anyone else does but if she isn't put away somewhere she will be a danger to herself and to the community so like any judge would say,she has to be locked up somewhere where she is not a danger to herself and to the community.I feel sorry for all involved in this situation and hope all gets the help they need but it must be done when everyone is safe and sound!

I know what you mean, but part of the problem is that the court system sometimes lets vary obvious things slip through their fingers and allow the innocent to walk *cough* OJ *cough*. And the fact that a court system would even allow a rapist a second chance at life, I find disturbing, you can't rehabilitate these people. They should all be burned, or have IT cut off with a reciprocating saw.

I think we are as a people a sick species, wanting to kill out of revenge. I personally would forgive him. I know now you're thinking, "Are you fucken mad? He raped someone". To that I say who's more evil? The person who commits the sin or the one who repays the sin with sin? I know it sounds down right stupid to forgive someone who's wronged you no matter what degree of the offense is...but...it takes someone of good faith to overlook for the greater good. Don't misinterpret me, he'll pay for his crime. But I leave justice to a vengeful God than to have that vegence repaid to me.

No,I agree because two wrongs will not make a right and to the law his punishment was served though to Karma it was not.I also agree because since she fed her desire for revenge her daughter must now suffer the loss of her mother.Her crime most definitely did not pay and made her a danger to herself and the community.When you choose to physically lash out in revenge you cause pain not only to the victim but to yourself and others and it does not pay it can even make things worse.It takes a lot of strength to forgive someone and some can't but seeking revenge doesn't help.The system doesn't always give you the justice you seek but often times it does.All I can think of is the girl losing her mother to prison or a mental ward and it seems to me that she has lost a lot now and it is very sad.
