Movie Review: Into the Blue

The first 12 minutes of this film had something to do with Jessica Alba's character (who I know had a name of some sort...) talking with her boyfriend about his desire to buy a boat, or go fishing, or something like that. Her boyfriend's brother shows up with some skanky chick and then they actually do go out into the ocean.

Then we get to see some great shots of Jessica in a bikini...underwater. Nice camera shot gliding over Jessica's body. Actually, a lot of nice shots like that.

Ok...then they find some stuff...I think there was a plane and something about a boat. The two guys want to claim different wrecks...blah,blah,blah...

Then we see more of Jessica Alba in a bikini. Wet.

Then some bad guys show up, something about some coke...

Then Jessica Alba gets all wet in her bikini. Some really nice shots here.

Oh crap, what happened next? Oh yeah...the bad guys want thier coke, or the plane or the boat...I wasn't really paying attention.

Then we get to see Jessica Alba bound and gagged. Wet. Then she goes into the water. Great shots here. I stopped breathing for a bit and missed some stuff...but there was a fight of some sort and the good guys win.

So, bad dialogue, crappy acting, predictable "plot"...

...Jessica Alba in a bikini for 90 minutes, wet and occasionally tied up.

All in all...5 stars.

I wasn't sure whether or not I wanted to see this movie, but now I know: I'll wait until it's available to rent.

Don't get me wrong: Jessica Alba is gorgeous, but that isn't enough for me to pay $10.00 plus popcorn fees to see a movie...I prefer men as eye candy.

Now, Dave2112 tied up...or Ray in a bikini...PRICELESS!

Didn't Jessica Alba star in that film?? I'm surprised you didn't mention her at all! I even thought she appeared in the movie in swimming attire. Surely any red blooded male in this country would notice THAT! Geez, you REALLY need to be more observant, Dave!

I took a day off work to go see Jess--- I mean, the movie again and picked up something really intrinsic that I missed the first time around...
