MP3 compression programmes

Does anyone know of any other MP3 compression programs similar to Sony's Atrac3 software? The sort of programme in which you can put, like 10
CD's worth of MP3's on one CD, but is universal in that it will play on any CD player. Sony's software is proprietary to it's own hardware.

Other programmes I'm also looking for are ones similar to the AlbumWrap program.

Try this : musicmatch JUKEBOX, it can to play any kind of audio file and also record cd audio tracks as mp3 files. Also can to play video.
