I have to second the idea that they're different. One on one is usually more personal (in my experience), and not something that just any two individuals will engage in with each other. Group tickling tends to be, well, more group-centered, obviously; more concerned with a good time than anything else.

Definitely different. I find I have a higher tolerance for multiple ticklers than a one-on-one, though you'd think the reverse would be true.

It is different for a few reasons...one just sensations...with a single tickle you have to focus on what they are doing to you, you can't really "block out" what they are doing; whereas with multiple ticklers sometimes all those hands "merge" into on big hand all over the place but then the ticklers fight to find the "spot(s)" that really get a reaction, so you end of reacting to the most ticklish area, so some of the "lesser" tickles are "blocked out" by sensation overload which with a one on one tickle would be much more pronounced...like say a light stroking of the inner thighs, or behind the knee.
Those touches in a multi-tickle will just blend into, if not lost to the heavier, deeper touch...but that light touch is not to be missed with a one on one session.

The other reason is exactly what Strider said, one on one allows for more focus from the lee to the ler and thereby a closer "connection" but a multi-tickle forces the focus on the ler rather than the lee so that the ler's are fighting it out for touch supremecy.

However, I think a two person tickle to one lee is more devestating than say a 5 person tickle blowout...because the lee can certainly focus on two specific areas being tickled, like feet and armpits at the same time by two different people, but with 5 people the sensations almost switch to become an upperbody and lower body division just so the mind can keep up.

One person's opinion:

For the ler, one-on-one is better, because you know that every reaction you hear or see from the lee is due to your own tickling.

For the lee, being gang tickled is better, the more in the gang, the more wonderful and overwhelming is the experience.

although i'ven't had a real experience being gang tickled,and maybe it's better but i guess it'll be waaay torturous if u got tickled by more than one person
(i mean one is definitetly enough to tickle ya to death,LOL),i'd go with one on one,at least there r more escape chances!

As has been said before, They are different 🙂 Whether one on one or group tickles,The ticklee will be laughing and that is the whole point One on one tickles can be just as devastating if the Ler really knows what he,she is doing and Exploits all of the worst most ticklish spot or Spots !

I prefer one on one, only because I can pay attention to one person better than I can, say, 3 or 4. Multiple ticklers definitely make it more intense, but all the hands and the moving and the sensations kind of make you zone out.

So yeah, one on one, I think is more fun.
