To me, this type of bondage is very intriguing. It's not that I'm all up on being restrained, but to be all wrapped up and tickled on my bare feet sounds kind of, cozy, to me. At least it sounds safe... However, It also seems that plastic wrap would be really warm, and duct tape would hurt. Does anyone have any advice or experiences that would help me out. I'm seriously considering bringing up my curiosities to my friend, the one who I recounted the stories about. 🙂

Plastic wrap indeed makes you sweat, and dehydration can be a problem. I've never tried duct tape.
At NEST, there was a demo where Ticklkitten was mummified in big wide self-adhesive bandages. They are the type used by vets to bandage horses. They adhere to themselves, but NOT to skin, so they are very good for that purpose.

Mummification For Beginners
One quick and easy way for beginners to experience the restrictiveness of mummification without taking 45 minutes to prepare, is to use an old sheet and some duct tape, or saran wrap. The sheet would be wrapped around the lee first, followed by the saran wrap or duct tape. The sheet serves two purposes. First, it protects the skin from direct contact with the saran wrap, or the duct tape, and secondly, it absorbs perspiration, decreasing the potential possibility of extreme overheating.
Above all else, remember that the top assumes great responsibility and should have the safety of the bottom in mind at all times.
1. Insure that the lee's head is slightly elevated.
2. Choose a safe word and HONOR it. This means immeidate release upon using the safe word.
3. Never place anything over the lees face while he or she is mummified. This includes gags or anything that may compromise breathing, or the lee's ability to communicate freely.
4. Never leave the beginner lee alone while mummified.
5. Keep a sharp pair of scissors handy in case of panic, or emergency.
6. Keep a glass of cold water with a straw on hand.
After you become more experienced with mummification, you may wish to graduate to more intricate forms of wrapping, using bandages, saran wrap, or plaster.

funny coincidence?
I was just talking to a mummification video producer about featuring more foot tickliing in their movies......they said that they would feature more foot tickling in future productions...they have some movies with mummy foot tickling content.

yep... it is pretty crazy.... you can see some pics of my mummified feet on myspace
I've experienced it before (both as a lee and a ler) and I feel the best way is to wrap the lee tightly in a blanket then tie around the ankles thighs waiste and shoulders with rope, ties, belts, etc....This technique is great if you (or your lee) have really, really ticklish feet because that is the olny area that gets tickled and sometimes, even people with ticklish feet will become immune to the tickling after a little while.

I think the sheet thing is a great idea, because it doesn't get too warm under a sheet. I also thought that mabey not wearing too much clothes under it may help. A new friend?
There I was in my regular spot in Central Park, all set up with my sunscreen, beach chair, blanket, mirrored sunglasses, and A magazine to pretend to read, while I'm really looking at barefoot girls. After a while, this really cute black girl sets up her blanket, beach chair, and paperback about ten feet in front of me, and off to my right. She was sitting in the opposite direction I was, giving me an unobstructed view of her soles. As I was staring, trying to look like I wasn't, I wriggled my toes, just because sometimes I do, and she did it, too. I shrugged it off as co-insedence. I then crossed my left ankle over my right. She followed suit. A few minutes later, I uncrossed them, and faned my toes out. So did she. At this point, I tore my eyes away from her feet long enough to look at her face. She had no sunglasses, and was holding her paperback, but seemed to make no pretense that she wasn't staring at my feet. She must have figured I was looking at her, because she dropped her eyes quickly back to her book. As I was gathering up my things to leave, I took off my sunglasses, looked right at her, and made a kind of goodbye wave with my foot. She looked back, waved her foot, and gave me a smile and a wink. I'm going back tomorrow, weather permitting, and if she's there again, well, maybe one of us needs a hand with her sunblock?

Actually the bandages I was wrapped in at NEST breathed pretty well. I mean, it WAS hot... don't get me wrong but bearable. Well, the temp was bearable, the tickling was insane!
Damp Sheets
Be careful if you use damp sheets...as they dry out they will contract and Squeeze the breath out of the person inside them.
I always favored using a sheet with 3 "bands"
of duct tape.
And the sheets are easy to cut little tickle windows into🙂
