So, I am always looking for more good music to add to my rotation. Instead of simply asking for some music recommendations, I figured I would try to make it interesting. So how about each person goes to their respective devices, place them on shuffle, and post the artist and title of the first 15-20 songs that come up? I will start 🙂

1. Median-Take a Chance
2. Buju Banton-African Pride
3. 9th Wonder-Merchant of Dreams
4. Sade-Skin
5. Fertile Ground-Freedom
6. Digable Planets-What Cool Breezes Do
7. Jean Grae & The Herbaliser-If You Close Your Eyes
8. Talib Kweli-Guerrilla Monsoon Rap
9. Les Nubians-Amour A Mort
10. K'naan-Wavin' Flag
11. Black Uhuru-Sponji Reggae
12. Organized Konfusion-Stress
13. Bone Thugs N harmony-Family
14. Tribe Called Quest-We Can Get Down
15. Sade-Tar Baby
16. Kanye West-Flashing Lights
17. Midnite-Lianess
18. Jay Electronica-Exhibit A
19. Jay-Z-Pray
20. Consequence-Trains

Surprised at the number of hip-hop tracks lol. Anyway, let us spread some good music 🙂

"... their respective devices?"

I don't have a device like that, but I get by. I automated this playlist off the NPR website library.

Crazy how I managed to get 2 different songs from the same album (Wu Block).

I know you guys are probably sick of me already but I'm going to do one more just because I wanted to do something a little differently. I'll put my playlist up and it will be random but I'm going to put a little personal rating next to each song. Just because I have A LOT of music on here that I don't really listen to that much or is just kind of there for novelty's sake. I'll rank each one on a scale of 1-5.

1. Mosaku-Dschinghis Kahn (4-catchy classic song that's fun to put on once in a while)

2. A Tout Le Monde-Megadeth (4 1/2-One of my favorite metal ballads)

3. Love is Here to Stay-George Gershwin (3)

4. Eine Kleine Nachtmusik-Mozart (5-its still awesome 200 years later)

5. Life on Mars?-David Bowie (5-One of my all time favorite Bowie songs)

6. So Doggone Lonesome-Johnny Cash (2 1/2)

7. Sparkly Vampires-Rifftones (2-not really one of my favorite parody songs)

8. Hyperstring Trilogy-Unknown (1-don't really know what this is doing here)

9.Glory (300 Soundtrack)-Tyler Bates (1)

10. Changes-David Bowie (2-though its a classic its really not one of my favorite Bowie songs)

11. I Shot the Sheriff-Bob Marley (3 1/2)

12. Foreplay Long Time-Boston (3-I generally loose interest after the awesome intro)

13. Miss America-Styx (5-one of my favorite songs from this band...yes I'm a Styx fan don't judge me!)

14. Moonraker-Shirley Bassey (2-Not really one of my favorite Bond songs)

15. Swing 42-Django Reinhardt (2 1/2)

16. Let Me Cum In-Steel Panther (1-One of the songs I generally skip on this album)
