while I'm at it, how could I possibly leave out Eddie Gomez haunting bass line on "Pools" from the album "Steps Ahead" by..er.....Steps Ahead.

....and not forgetting Paul Chambers delivery of what is surely the holy mantra of bass lines on the track "So What" from the Album "Kind of Blue".

...but then again....how can you miss out Danny Wilson's bass playing on "Can't Get Enough" from the album "Wizard Island" by Jeff Lorber....or indeed all Danny Wilson's playing on this album?

....or perhaps, his playing is even better on "City" from the same album......blimey thats reet proper funk is that!

....nearly forgot......Peter Freiberger's bass line on "Struttin'" from the album "Struttin'....er....by....Dr Strut. Seems a lot of struttin for one album if you ask me.
