My first tattoo

Just got in fromn getting it and thought I would share. I am now branded and Air Force Brat for the rest of my life.

The idea of tattoos being addictive is not true. If it were true, every girl that started off with a butterfly on her hip would soon turn into Kat Von D.

It's just that after the first one, tattoos stop being as big of a deal as they were before you got them, so the idea of another one is not as intimidating.

I probably have more tattoos than the average human, many of which are visible unless I'm wearing long sleeves and gloves. Though, they all hold meaning to me and will continue to symbolize something important and something that will still be relevant when I'm 99 years old. I try to keep in mind when I think of getting another tattoo, if the idea I have will still hold true when I get older. That way, even if I don't like the design or the area in which I got it, or how it looks as I get older, it will at least still mean something important to me.

Though I'm sure butterflies are very important to people too.😎

As for your first tattoo fire, I'd say it's a great choice. All my tattoos are black, so you'll have to let me know how the color holds up in that one over time. I'm really interested in color tattoos, but not if I have to continually get them touched up. I'm too broke for that. 🙂

Nope they all bailed on me. My brother got his earlier in the week and told me he would go for support. He later decided that going to a party was a better idea. So I went all on my lonesome. It wasn't that bad actually until the last five minutes or so when he was working on the center of the star.

As for everyone asking if I am getting another one. Not yet. I have a some time before I get another if only to save up money. Plus I won't go and ge a tattoo unless there is a real reason for it. Body art is nice but if I am going to go through the irritation/pain it has to have a reason that makes it worth having forever.
