ok guys, i think im brave enough to tell a first story! This isn't the story i was originally going for but this happend just wednesday so i thought i would share. ok..here it goes...so on wed at work, i was washing dishes in the back and my co-worker knew i was ticklish so he snuck up behind me and grabbed my sides and started tickling me like crazy! I kinda fell down being so surprised and plus he was tickling me in the right spots to make me weak lol and so im giggling like crazy and turning all kinds of red and wanted to pee myself and he was lauging so hard as well. so i manage to somewhat get away but he catches up to me and tries to kinda throw me to the side but my footing was bad and i slipped and hit my head on shelves and i blacked out for a few seconds  and when i woke up i was like wtf?? he felt so bad b/c for a few minutes i didnt know who he was or who i was or where i was!! But no way was i mad at him b/c it was a total accident and plus he is a good tickler 😉

so needless to say ive had a big headache for 2 days and a few memory problems *sigh* but i will live!

sry for being so long, i just thought i would share!! Hope everyone has a great day! :2poke:

No tickling session should end up in a concussion, especially not at work. I'm glad you're not angry, but I'm ready to kill him! It's not appropriate behavior in the workplace, you both could've been fired.

I'm glad you're okay, but if it were me, I'd never let him touch me again.

nah we were in the back and i was technically off and just finishing up. yeah he felt really bad though and still does but i mean its not like he knocked me out on purpose so i can't be too angry! But i think he has learned his lesson lol

Thanks for the story Sillygirl22. I also got tickled one time at work. But I didn't get in trouble with the boss. HE was the one doing the tickling. Quite an interesting story too.

Play safe...

Thankfully, you`re all right! Work is definitely not the place for tickling,as fun as it might seem. You just open yourself up for too many things to go wrong.

Might I suggest a nice comfortable bed, with plenty of bondage to safely hold you in place? :bouncybou

I'm glad you're okay; I'm not trying to tell you what to do or criticize you. Please just be careful next time because concussions are serious; my daughter's an athlete who's suffered three of them and it can cause permanent damage.

thanks for the concern!! yeah ive been taking it easy and anymore signs of memory problem im going to the ER! Lets just say if he ever tickles me at work again Im probably going to slap him lol.

I'm sure he meant no harm, but thats going to far in my opinion.I would advise him to keep his hands to himself in the workplace.I am glad you are ok though.

I fall down when tickled (like one of those touch-it-and-make-it-fall-down plants) we faller-downers need to be careful! It sounds silly... but we really do! It can be dangerous! I have no idea where you are with all of this, but take it from me, you want a 'ler who can keep you from falling down when you turn into jello!

A 2 day headache and loss of memory is not a good thing. Please get yourself checked out by a Dr. You may have hurt yourself worse than you think. 🙁

yeah im thinking tomorrow if im still having symptoms i will go! but the past few hours has been better! thanks for all the concerns and ideas! everyone is so nice!

As someone who spent a few years working on an Ambulance in NYC, any headache for 2 days associated with memory loss definately isnt a good thing...If it lasts any longer hit the ER ASAP!!!

you could have a concussion. hitting your head and blacking out is bad enough. but with memory loss....please get yourself checked. head injuries are scary.

Man that's too bad... I feel bad for both of you.

I was tortured as a child with tickling.

You say you're ok, but have you gone to the hosptal or the doctor to get an X-Ray of your skull?
Please don't put this off if you haven't received any medical treatment for this.
I don't want to scare you but it could become worse if not prperly treated.
Ok, I've done my concerned citizen bit for the day.

Maybe the next person to fall and crack her head against something when this guy decides that it's alright to physically assault female coworkers, will be more seriously injured... or won't like it so much... neither of which makes for any kind of a good situation. Unless you're wildly exaggerating the story about blacking out, and having enduring memory loss over several days, what happened could have been instantly fatal. I'm sorry, but I really think you both ought to be fired. Speaking as a fast food manager myself, I'd have booted him on the spot, had you taken to the hospital in an ambulance, and----assuming you had health insurance through the job----kept you in the system only long enough to ensure that you received the care you needed right then and there. Were the possibility of filing charges actually mine, I'd do it in a heartbeat. He obviously has no concept of acceptable workplace behavior or very, very fundamental safety ideas (Yo. Sinks make for wet floors, and when someone hits her head and falls unconscious, you call an ambulance, homey). You, on the other hand, got your rocks off on what he was doing to you, and don't want to head off the possibility of it happening again, regardless of what sort of precedence it sets or what it sets other people up to go through when this moron continues his behavior. Such activity is not desirable, to most people that he might decide to do it to, and it is not, by standard workplace policies, acceptable, for that very exact reason.

EDIT: Did I read that right? He actually caught you when you tried to get away, and threw you aside, and THAT was what resulted in the concussion..?

Aren't you going just a tad over the top?

She didn't invite him to tickle assault her to the point of possible concussion did she? She only admitted to us (members of a tickling forum) that she liked it; she never would've admitted it to her boss. In other words, she was innocent and would not have deserved firing.

Are you blaming her for violating workplace policies (which she didn't do) or are you blaming her for admitting to us (members of a tickling forum who should understand what was going on in her head) that even though her personal space was disrespected and got a head injury out of it, she sort-of liked it? We all get turned on by different things especially when we are taken by surprise. Personally, I would've killed him, but it's not my experience, it was hers, and she didn't do anything wrong.

And telling her she "got her rocks off" or referring to her as "honey" wasn't very respectful either IMO. If she can't discuss her feelings about being tickled on a tickling forum without being judged, who can she tell?

Sorry, but none of that matters as far as keeping your jobs are concerned. Anything like that involving an employee at their place of business can result in a job action, whether the employee is on the clock or not.

Another employee touching you like that could get the business sued for sexual harassment. The fact that you wouldn't do that doesn't matter. Other employees who saw it would have grounds to sue. The fact that you were injured could also lead to trouble for the business.

Bottom line, it was stupid of your friend to do something like that. I'm glad you weren't hurt more seriously.

I as about to respond with the exact same statement.
Being in the medical field, I seriously suggest a visit to the doc regardless of how you feel. Better safe than sorry.

To be fair, Azrael's complaint doesn't really seem to centre around either of those: from what I can make out his problem is with the way sillygrl22 hasn't made a fuss over the way she's been treated to anyone. It's not that it's being suggested she doesn't have a right to forgive the person, but that obviously doesn't equate to the right to completely overlook what's happened when there's the possibility of it happening again, especially when that could be to someone else. Afterall, If the guy is insensitive and stupid enough to do this once, he's presumably insensitive and stupid enough to do it again. As Azrael puts it, she doesn't seem to 'want to head off the possibility of it happening again, regardless of what sort of precedence it sets or what it sets other people up to go through when this moron continues his behavior'. That said I don't really think this is a firing offence, not for sillygrl22 anyway, but something really ought to be said to someone in charge.

Of course, maybe this guy is usually the perfect gentleman with no problem respecting limits and following basic safety rules; maybe this really is a one-off. It might even have been a good call in choosing not to make a mountain out of a molehole and getting someone fired over a silly mistake. But just hearing the brief version of events here we don't know if that's the case, so it's a legitimate point to raise.

Glad everything is fine. I was more worried about your head than anything else. I can not see how someone who saw this, but did not experience could bring up a lawsuit. Any judge hearing... "Well I saw him tickle her... and she didn't seem to want it done, but no she has no problems and yeah she is fine with him..." should without a doubt throw that case out of court, and reprimeand the person who does the lawsuit... forcing them to pay the costs.

Good to hear you're not injured. 🙂

Now go get some more tickles... where the floor isn't slippery. 😛
