I've seen these odd gizmos utilized in quite afew Japanese S&M videos, and rarely elsewhere. I'm afraid the function is kind of lost on me. Can someone help explain the appeal of these things? :blink

Bam. That was my unspoken assumption, too. You said it way better than I ever could have, though. The things have a way of instantly reducing beautiful women into to those "hideous pig-creatures" you mention. So, for the most part, a degradation tool?

It occurs to me that I have in fact seen them in use more recently in some of the material from sites like HardTied, Hogtied, and Insex (who I "think" are pretty much all under the same producer's umbrella). Sometimes with those mouth-spreaders, turning beautiful faces into downright clownish masks! I'll see if I can dig up some examples from those I might have saved.

At least once, I've seen video of the nose-stretcher-thingee used in a truly tortuous way. In it, a Japanese woman is bound, and in one of those things, and nostrils are lightly tickled with a tiny brush, which must have been MADDENING!

Well, there are a lot of sensitive nerve endings in the nose, in addition to some vital blood vessels and fluids used for balance. Perhaps applying pressure to them in that way is meant to induce anywhere from something painful to something euphoric. It all depends on how far back the strap is pulled over the head, I suppose.

Leading someone around by that sort of "nose-ring" would be an incredible, almost delicate way of having total control over them. Think about it- that whole big body pulled around by the soft, sensitive tissues of the nose....

And there needs to be more nose-tickling on this Forum! Ever had it done to you? It's maddening... Not like feet or sides. I read in the 'Gulag Archipelago' that the Russians really used a form of nose-tickling to torture prisoners.
