I just looked at the tabulator thing.

There will soon be 5280 members here.

In case anyone doesn't know what P50 means, 5,280 feet = 1 mile

Although your post seems to imply that each of us is one foot tall! 😛

OK....OK...single file............

Let's see if we made that mile yet..........

100,000-99,888=112 Confirmation from a math major 😛

Unlike trying to find the definite integral from 0 to 1 of x^2 with respect to x (freshman calculus problem) 😀

Math, science(preferably physics), or even engineering :blaugh:

Going with the thinking that almost everyone has 2 feet..should'nt we cut that number in half. 😛

In that case, Prime, we've already reached the milestone a long time ago (at around 2,640) and this thread is nonsense 🙂

Unlike trying to find the definite integral from 0 to 1 of x^2 with respect to x (freshman calculus problem)

seeing as I was just a freshman in Calculus, I should know this......

is it 1, or should I consider retaking calc?

Wrong!

The antiderivative of x^2 with respect to x is (x^3)/3, so the definite integral from 0 to 1 is: [(1^3)/3]-[(0^3)/3]=1/3-0/3=1/3
So you were off by 2/3, duo. Don't retake calculus, but do brush up on your integrals! 🙂

Oops

Oh well....that's what happens when you try to answer a Calculus question in 15 seconds in between yawns.......:zzzzz:

good thing I found out here, though, cause a few of my profeesors were trying to get to include Math as part of a double major.....lol, guess I better stick to computer science then

If I had known that the Internet would make young people millionaires, I would have majored in comp sci, too! 😛 Since that's your major, duo, don't worry about it. When you need to answer a math question, you'll probably need only a calculator! :blaugh:
