I'm sure there are others out there with my drive and desire for tickling. And with the creative minds it takes to bring the industry to it's knees. I would very much like to find these people but my question is for people already involved in the making of tickling videos and photo shoots.

How do you become a legitimate busines?

How do you approach people about being involved if they have no interest in tickling?

Do I need any type of liscense to sell/distribute material on the web.

And a run down of what it takes to operate such a business.

Any other comments and Ideas about tickling production will be greatly appreciated.

Yeah I know man, but there's got to be one person who wants to help. Or someone with a law degree at least right? I just want the legal rundown. I've been in the community for over a decade, and I've seen the mass production techniques of the producers, I see awesome heartfelt material and over time, just like a good rock band sells out, they're material becomes bland and uninthusiastic. When a company first comes out they are thriving with potential, then the whole sparkle and fade begins. I'm defginately not talking about any producer in particular and definately not all of them either. There are still MANY AWESOME companies out there. I know I'm taking a risk stating this, and of course it's only my opinion, but a good business man/woman knows that with great risk comes great outcome. If you don't wish your position known youi can PM me with any thoughts, or AS ALWAYS JUST TO CHAT. Anyone with similar ideals as mine please come forward we can work together. Kinda sounds like American politics, WE THE PEOPLE WANT TICKLING!! AND WE WANT IT NOW!!!

P.S. My Grandfather used to personally deliver Colonel Sanders his food orders, but that was a long time ago. Pretty Crazy Huh?

How do you become a legitimate busines?
To be a business all you need to do is sell something whether it be a product of a service. In your case, once you get a couple clips together, you can call youserlf what ever you want to. You may want to talk to a patent attourney so that you can make sure your stuff cannot be redistributed

How do you approach people about being involved if they have no interest in tickling?
I would suggest you put ads on sites such as craig's list looking for fetish models. This is actually much easier than you think. I believe the going rate for models is between $100-$300 for an hour.

No, but as I stated you may want a copyright.

And a run down of what it takes to operate such a business.
Your best bet is to put together a site on Clips4sale.com. I believe they have a 60/40 split where you keep 60% of all profits. But you'll need at least 1 good camera, an editing program, and some start up capital.

Yeah that helps alot. Other questions I had involve proof of consent forms, model contracts, and all the legal stuff involving proof of age and other liabilities. I have a few rough drafts of some forms I have written, but know that they could use work. Thanks so much SCAIMSTER, your a big help and took alot of unneeded stress and worry of my mind.

Anyother ideas on business, or just thoughts as to what you would like to see from me in the future. Not just stocking feet or navel tickling, I want good plots, ideas, types of models(female male, large average) The setting of the scene, be as descriptive as you can. IO would prefer you PM them to me, but if your rather post thats fine too.

Anyone nbear the Central Kentucky area that would like to be a part of this is more than free to hit me up. Models, camera men/women, whatever I'm not going to be at all selfish with this project. Thank you all!

Here's the run down.

In order to run a business that keeps itself afloat, there is one cardinal rule to follow: Always have a product that people want, and advertise it to those people and you will always make sales.

Bearing that in mind, check out the following points.

- Study up on your bondage. When you fumble with ropes and other materials and look like you don't know what you're doing, models will not like working with you as you will appear unprofessional.

- Make sure you KNOW how to tickle - not just THINK you know how to tickle. Different people react differently to different kinds of tickling so be aware of that.

- Keep your camcorder in good shape - if you break it, you're fucked til you buy a new one.

- Keep your computer in good shape - if your video and photo editing software is buggy and laggy, your videos and photos will look like shit and will not play properly.

- Think up a catchy, easy-to-remember company name.

Everything else is up to you to discover.

My advice would be to make sure you stick to tickling. Don't try and mix it with spanking, forced orgasms, or any of that other bullshit. That is the quickest route to failure.

See if you can find a female friend to do the tickling. You're probably tempted to do it yourself, but if you can find a female friend to do the tickling, you'll have a leg up on half of these guys. Not a model necessarily, but a reasonably attractive girl or woman. Most guys don't want to see other guys in their fantasies. This is why F/F sells much better and why many M/F producers are so reluctant to label their material as M/F.

Exellent, alot of tis has gone through my mind, but backup is the most important thing. Yes Yes, It's beginning to come into play now. YES!

I know some girls who are very dominate in their lifestyle , how do I approach them with questions of a tickling video persuit when hey are my friends and may not neccisarily be "into this stuff." As drew said get some female ticklers.

Starting ANY business is difficult but they all follow the same principals:

I help a lot of young entrepreneurs who want to start their own business and I will give you some REALLY helpful advice and sources,

1) Define a clear goal of what you want
2) Make a company name and logo
3) Decide what your product you want to distribute and WHY is it will do well (uniqueness, untapped market, etc)
4) Do your research on your product- This covers everything from why clips sell well, to what content you want
5) Do your research on your competition- There is no point in opening up a burger joint next to a McDonalds, find out who the biggest distributors are and why they are so big…learn from them
6) Read up on your business- Find the best books to learn how to run a successful business. Some titles include:
i. The Riches Man In Babylon
ii. The E Myth and E Myth revisited
iii. Project Management 101 Tips And Tools For Success
iv. The Secret
v. Noel Whittaker’s Golden Rules of Wealth
7) Plan in detail your company structure- The process, the who, what, when, where, why
8) Budget your company- Where are you getting the funding from. How much of your pay check do you put towards it
9) Start buy equipment and supplies
10) Start producing

This of course is a VERY basic list of what I go through with my entrepreneurs but hopefully this will help you out.

Also a word to the wise, don’t expect anyone to help you because people don’t like to give their secrets away. I think it would help more businesses get going so that is why I help people out 😉

Here's one that I'm surprised no one's mentioned.

Talk to a lawyer.

Find out what the laws are in your area for the creation and distribution of adult material. Bone up on tax laws relevant to running a business, or at least find out whether or not you can file as income generated by a hobby on your returns.

The last thing you need is to have trouble with Uncle Sam because you didn't do your homework.

You should also draw up a standard consent form for your models to sign that lays out exactly who owns what and how compensation is to be handled with regards to profit from videos.

A lawyer isn't a bad idea - just be careful. Might become expensive. Also keep in mind that the federal laws regarding adult material recently changed, so study up!

And contracts are absolutely neccessary. I recommend having one for every model and every shoot, and making sure it clearly defines what is and is not ok during the shoots. The LAST thing you need is someone claiming you violated them and not having proof on paper that they consented to bondage/tickling or whatever.

As of now I'm just trying to aquire footage for a future opening, but I'll be sure to share all I can with the Forum, it has done so much for me. Yes, the taxes and business liscenses, and so on are what worry me the most. That will put the biggest damper on things, as usual, too much red tape.
