Need help with bondage technique

To make a long story short, I tickle my ex about once every month or so, and the next upcoming visit is special in that I have permission to completely tie her down/up...
...only issue is besides some light bondage, that's all I've been allowed to do, so I have no experience/knowledge on the subject whatsoever.

How can I safely and securely and most important COMFORTABLY tie her legs/feet together with big toes tied back, and arms/elbows tied up together so that she cant fidget/untie herself?

Elaborate/extensive/articulate links to videos as well as instructions are welcome, and if you guys help me, I promise to try and get her permission to post pictures and a few videos.
She's a lean 5'8'' brunette with size 8 feet = incentive to help???

I use leather shackles to secure my wife. Once the shackles have been secures to her wrists and ankles, she can squirm relentlessly without them hurting her. You can get them at almost any sensual store that sells bondage equipment. Here's a link from ebay.

Without previous experience or practice, the above is solid advice. While it's generally safe if you know what you're doing, it's easy to overlook things that a practiced ropemaster would look out for. I've seen some bad knots (as in, knots that won't come undone without a knife) and it's just not necessary to involve that sort of thing. If something goes wrong, the ability to safely remove the bondage in proper time is important. You have to remember that you're in control; the person tied up is dependent upon you being so.

Also stuff to watch out for is restraints that are too tight and cut off circulation or pinch nerves. Also, while a position may appear comfortable enough for everyone involved in the beginning, long-term sessions can become very uncomfortable, or even harmful to joints.

Sadly, I'm not aware of any videos to point you to, but I can suggest you take a stroll through Lover's Lane (or similar place of intimate purveyance) to see some good examples of consumer restraints. There's bed-dependent restraints and body restraints that might be just what you're looking for.

Yeah, no need to reinvent the wheel. Spencers has a good selection of underbed restraints and cuffs and particularly if you encounter any post-Black Friday -- or, perhaps especially, post-holiday/pre-New Year deals -- the prices seemed good for the description. Amazon has user-ratings on various products and lines -- helpful for bondage equipment, which tends to be non-returnable.

The most important thing to remember is the fact that if your ex is uncomfortable in the least, she will be concentrating on the discomfort rather than how ticklish she is. The 'lees comfort is everything! Padded cuffs and reasonably tight bonds so they don't pull something struggling.

yep, i agree with the above posts
-padded leather cuffs are great
- there are some underbed restraint kits for beds without spread eagle attachment points
-spread eagled is a lovely way to be tickled ( I recently blissed out so much as the last cuff was clipped into place that I paniced when my ler make his first few exploratory touches and i didn't feel anything (I was squirming soon though 🙂
- karibiners sold in climbing or DIY shops are good to use to attach the cuffs to the ropes or chains you're using to tie your lee to the bed
-means you can quickly release a limb without having to fumble around undoing straps
- be careful of anything involving weight pulling down on the shoulders as this can be painful
-bondage tape looks and feels sexy ( I was recently partly mummified in it -gaps left as I had shorts and vest-top on but it meant my ler could her his fingers into my tickle spots and I couldn't move at all -loved it) -it's good for blindfolds and gags

p.s. during my recent session my ler tickled me for a few minutes then checked in with me -at that moment I'd been wriggling so if anything wasn't comfortable I could have asked him to sort it out -sometimes the ankle cuffs need checking -in my experience I need to feel warm too -cold draughts and cold hands cancel out any ticklish feelings, we had the usual stop everything 'red' but I ask for 'orange' for those times when I'm happy but something minor needs sorting -'green' for everythings ok -as it is I was being tickled so intensely I'd only have been able to manage red -luckily I was having the time of my life

wow I really appreciate all of the prompt feedback!!
I was hoping to be able to take the less expensive back route and avoid spending for gear I would use once/seldom until I'm dating/tickling like that on a regular basis. I will look into that bondage tape though that sounds perfect for the legs, I have bought amateur restraints at Lovers Lane but she's pretty good at untying/releasing herself. If I don't cave and buy leather restraints I'll be sure to have her arms/wrists padded before roping.

Any advice on what material to use to tie her Big toes together/back to her ankles? I dont want her loosing circulation or getting nasty friction rashes/burns
