Need spreader bar advice

hey everyone! Please help me get a good birthday tickle 😉

Just bought a spreader bar and ankle cuffs to surprise my boyfriend. first time in a sex shop and i was disappointed.
First the "fully adjustable" cuffs were too big for my ankles (i guess i'm petite) but i'm going to sew velcro on to solve the issue.
Second issue: the spreader bar doesn't keep me.. well, spread. Its on the smaller side but the way the cuffs attach allow a lot of movement. The D-clamps on the end swing back in toward the bar, so my ankles can move a lot. Any suggestions to fix it? i cant return it 🙁

There are many affordable options on Amazon.. I have two very affordable spreader bars that are adjustable

Ok so here's what you can do. Wrap your ankles in a pair of thick socks and then use the cuffs. To decrease the wiggle room you can use a ziptie and attach the cuff directly to the spreader bar. Tighten to your comfort level. Hope this helps

I agree with the ziptie advice. You may want to buy the heavy duty kind(175 lb. breaking strength, vs 75 or so lb. ??) Harbor freight sells both kinds on the cheap. Now go out there and spread some laughter....well, you know what I mean! 😉

I'm glad you showed that. I'm thinking of buying one myself and those are my exact concerns. This seems like a lazy construction. If i were you, I'd return it and get a good product. if i fond one I'll let you know.
