Thank you SO much for the goodies for the baby! I had the kids over the other night with some friends who have a baby girl around the same age as JJ so I was well equipped for the little ones!

The pink Elephant is proudly displayed in the curio cabinet along with a bunch of other elephants I've collected over the years. She'll be there for the kids to play with when they come over to visit Grandma Jan!

Thank you Max and Jan for hosting yet another wonderful gathering! I miss everyone, and, as many others have said, I want to do it again...NOW!

Thank you Mina for making sure that we had a place to stay!

A big thanks to the people who were kind enough to transport us around town: Ann (aka "Sneaky" 😉 and Drew, and Terorizer. You are all so kind and generous!

It was great to meet new people and put faces with the names: lk70, TicklerBart, Focus, Italian Touch, Babbles (such a sweetie!), alchemy, TicklishGiggles, concreteman...and so many others (please excuse me, but my brain is full of meds).

Finally, in case anyone who has never attended NEST is reading this, please note: I recently had surgery, and as such I was unable to 'lee because of the risk of causing myself further pain and injury. Everyone, absolutely EVERYONE, was respectful of this! People were always mindful of what they were doing and took care of me...asking how I was doing, if I needed anything, if I was doing well. I don't really feel that I contribute to this community; I don't write stories, or create artwork, or anything of that nature. I do feel that I'm a part of the community nevertheless, and I consider it to be a huge, extended, sometimes-disfunctional family (and I mean that in the nicest way!).

Next time, I'm going to be well, and play my ass off!
