What a weekend folks.I'm not sure what the final attendance was......but we had one hell of a crowd.Before I go any further,I must thank a few folks who made this work.First of all,to the great Max Speer,who without putting a vision into reality 11 years ago,none of this would be happening each year.To other folks behind the scenes,such as Ann,Venray,And Leeallure,your hardwork,deication and planning of this event surely deserves more than a thank you....but that is all I have to offer at this time.I was lucky enough to bring the beautiful and slightly ticklish[LOL] Spareme to her first gathering.I wanted to thank the veterans as well as the newbies for making her feel so welcome.While I'm on the subject of the newbies.....CONGRATULATIONS....you are newbies no longer.You made that first leap into uncertainty and hopefully had a great weekend.I also have to give a mention to the hotel bartender.It's not often that you can get mixed drinks with no mixer,lol.I'm figuring that he either had no mixer,or wanted me to have a really good time,or if it was his polite way of saying 'GO THE F#@K AWAY SAURUS DUDE".It was great to meet new folks as well as see old friends.Stickler,eh Jamie i mean,we go way back and it is always a pleasure to be in your company.To Charlie and his Mrs,you folks were a big part of my enjoyable weekend and hopefully the four of us can get together very soon,we owe you one,lol.Big Mike,John...you were at my very first nest and it is always good to see you.Minerva,you traveled 9 hours by plane to get here for your first gathering,it was awesome to meet you and have you there.These gatherings really are a giant extended family,so for those of you who have never been........whatcha waitin for.I will have to finnish this later since I am in the midst of a major storm and I may lose power.Thanks to all who attended for making this weekend a bitchin' time. May you all arrive home safely.

Well said Saurus. I just got home after over 11 hours of driving and want to say for me it was well worth it. It means alot to put faces to the screen names I have been talking to for over a year and a half. I also want to apologize for leaving early today and only saying goodbye to Pokey, Bugman, Venray and Venraya. I especially want to say I'm sorry to Spare Me and Minerva. After you two started tearing up last night saying goodbye to a few others and Venraya this morning I just couldn't summon the courage to go through that with you special ladies (you too, Classy and Tickleshotel) and the great guys I met this last weekend. So I'm not saying goodbye but I am saying I'll be back next year if possible. So consider this just "I'm going up to my room for a little while and I'll see you guys at dinner". I hope the same bartender is there when I get back. That guy is a real mixologist!



Oh, hell. I can still feel the wristband. I'll miss you guys!

Sounds like NEST was absolutely outstanding and I wouldn't want it any other way! I'm so glad you all had such a great time.

Although I should say I'm sorry I missed it I just can't. I'm in France with Marty having the time of my life attending the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Although the main race is 24 hours and happens this weekend there have been lots of pre-race activities so we've been here for 2 weeks already and working on our third.

Now.... timing is right for the Post-NEST blues to set in.... Don't worry everyone.... this too shall pass!

See, ya reeeely missed it this year. NEST was huge this time around, as you can read here in the notes!

And you're having to spend all that time over in that foreign country where people don't even speak much English, and having to eat all that French food, and have all that noise from those 240 mile per hour race cars all night long, and the big crowds of 300,000.

Yep, you really missed it this year. Oh well, we'll invite you back next year (smile), 'n "him" too.

It was soooo Great to see everyone!, I can;t express just how much it meant for me to be there at Nest again this year... I had a Absolute Wonderful time meeting all the newcomers to Nest and all people I had met were smiling and Outstanding people friendly as can be after just meeting for first time . As for the friends that I have met before,and know and Adore ...You may have no idea just how happy you make me offering me to join you at breakfast,lunch,or just inviting me to spend some time in your room to hang out!

There is something else I want to say while I was busy chatting and having the time of my life, I sincerely hope that if someone wanted to approach me and chat that You did as I am quite approachable, I enjoy listening and engaging in conversation even if the subject of Tickling isn;t brought up .What I am saying is I want to Give Back to others what I experienced my first time attending Nest and that is feeling like you are important and valued in the community whether you decide to participate in the tickling or sit back,watch and observe ,your not in a group of strangers as you see lots of people coming up to you one by one extending a hand, offering a hug and everyone is so happy to see you!..

Surprisingly , I think this year I did alot more chatting,hanging out with people getting to know them than tickling .. which tickling is wonderful but I really enjoy getting to know people for who they are..

ALL I say is, I hope to be returning to Nest next year and I look forward to seeing many of you again
