NEST is Happening!

Friday update!!!

Well lots and LOTS of the gang are here! It's almost midnight and we're up in my room with Ray and Tracy, Dan and Tracy, Pat, Viper, Beth and Chris, World Pilot, Terry, and Russ!

Max and I took Bella and Jamie to the Club tonight so we could scope out the directions and the specific location of the club. It's not far away and the club itself is terrific. There's a nice kitchen area, a social, resting area and one HUGE room for the dungeon with just about any bondage equipment you could ever dream of. Racks, Crosses, Suspension, a spider web and more. Some of the folks stayed at the club to play tonight and I'm sure we'll hear some incredible stories again this year. It's a great warm-up for the fun on Sunday!

Today was basically just a bunch of running around, buying supplies and meeting up with a bunch of the folks attending the NEST. It's been a wonderful time to get re-acquainted with friends and meeting all kinds of new ones! Boy I LOVE it here in Philly! My second home.

So... now it's just visiting and sharing fun. Later tonight Max and I will head out to pick up the folks at the club and get back to rest some before tomorrow's social and fun.

So I'm going to go visit now and be on my way. More tomorrow.

ToYou444: Glenn, one of these days we'll hook up at a gathering and enjoy the festivities from a front row seat! For me, it's particularly rewarding to hook up with my old AMT pals. Two years ago I was privileged to meet RChello at NEST. The man is a laugh riot.

Ayla: I somehow escaped your torture last year. Something tells me this year might be different. But that's a good thing, right? 😉

Venray: I'm looking forward to seeing you and Tracy once again. I'm burning you a CD as we speak. I hope somebody brings a CD player, because I wrote and recorded my very first original tickle song!

Bella: While I love debating with you, I love even more seeing you at NEST! You take my breath away, even when you're not tickling me! 😉

Man, I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOO jealous of you all, but I'll get over it. What hurts most is that I was this *holding thumb and index finger about 1/2 inch apart* close to going. I was SOOOOO looking forward to getting on that runway.

Can it get any better than this?

Oh My God! I'm SO exhausted but so happy!

This has been such a fabulous weekend.

Friday night lots of the folks arrived in Philly and settled into their rooms. The local folks came around to visit. Lots of the new folks finally realized that they have a world of fabulous folks who "understand" as they met so many of the terrific people who come to this incredible event.

Saturday we had some errands to run and then we had a social at 2 in the afternoon in a couple of rooms at the motel. We had videos going, lots of talking about our "interest", how we all found out that there are other folks around who are also into this "sport" called tickling and meeting lots of folks that we have known for years online but have never had an opportunity to meet face to face.

Saturday evening a bunch of us went to the club where Max plays and we enjoyed lots of the "nest" references he incorporated into the songs he had us all singing. And yes, our side was DEFINITELY the party side! We finally got back to the motel around 2 a.m. just in time to catch a few wings and then morning was upon us.

We had lots of running around before the major NEST party but that was nothing when compared to the actual party itself. The club was fabulous! It was all on one floor with a huge room fully equipped with all kinds of bondage contraptions including suspension equipment that we used to hoist Bella in a cage. The great part about this year was that more men, than women, got the bejesus tickled out of them this year.

Yes we got Venray and Drew (TklDuo). We got Drew70 and Tom. We got Andy (TickleChgo) of course! Us gals can't keep our paws off that guy! We got Chris and Howard, We got Kevin and yes... are you ready for this... We even got to get Danimal!

I had a fabulous time meeting JPie for the first time and seeing Josie who I haven't seen in a couple of years. In fact, at breakfast this morning we had the J table. We had Josie, Judy, Jan, Jen, and Joel! LOL

Bratgirl has a new nickname. We're calling her Trixie now! LOL She came over Saturday to hang out with us and then she and Peter came to the NEST on Sunday.

So we had Kevin who came out from Alaska. We got to see Lou who was instrumental in starting up our West Coast gatherings. He got to meet other West Coast folks including Danimal and Terorizer and Vadim as well as WorldPilot. We represented the West Coast with a great turnout.

I am probably talking nonsense right now because I'm just exhausted but I'm till flying from the fun of the week and weekend! The best part of NEST for me is getting to meet all the fabulous folks and getting to see folks who I haven't seen in about a year. I need about a week for each day to enjoy my time with everyone!

I'm going to sign off now and get some rest. Once I get home I'll write more!

I do want to say a big Thank You to Affectionate Dan aka Danimal aka Grizz. He's been running me all over town to run errands and picking up folks at the airport.

I also want to thank Pat (Pguip) who pitched in there in several frantic moments and helped run errands, take Max to his show and help drive people around town. You are such a love. And I really enjoyed yelling "Shove it in harder" last night! LOL... No... get your mind out of the gutter! It had to do with the room key and how to get it to work right!

boy...I'm getting punchy... but one more thing.

Max, my darling, I just love you so. Thank you for putting together this incredible adventure we call NEST. Who could have ever dreamed that those 9 guys at your apartment once could end up turning into a HUGE event bringing together so many incredibly wonderful folks. Keep it going brother man.

I'm. So. Tired.

But really, really happy! This weekend was a blast! I had my hands on more sweaty male flesh yesterday than a happily married woman has a right to! And you were all wunnerful! And whomever got their tickles in while I was blindfolded on the swing - thanks to you too!! 😉

The club was fabulous, the people were awesome and more and more it's becoming more like just 'meeting up with old friends.' Uh... with benefits. 😀

But seriously, that'll learn me for not taking the Monday after NEST weekend off. I am at my desk but want to be

it’s over. I’m home. 🙁 and I seem to have me a case of those post-NEST-blues.

it was such an amazing experience. all of it. so much fun, laughter (even when they‘re not tied down!), and friendship. the wonderful people are really what makes this thing so cool. it’s almost just a bonus that you get to tickle them!

lots of new faces for me this year. new faces that I felt belonged to friends, ten minutes after meeting them.

wow, wow, wow. Just got home, exhausted but completely with the feeling of joy and satisfaction.

1st let me tell you the 1 best thing about NEST is meeting the absolute wonderful people of this community. I met wonderful ladies and respectful gentlemen.

Jan, I so enjoyed meeting you. You are a queen of women, wonderful and kind making sure everyone is comfortable. Max it was a pleasure finally making your acquiantance. Thanks to both of you for making this all possible!

Bella, Bella, Bella...you are so much fun. Wish you were closer girl so I can see some of your parties in action.

Drew70 after all these years my nails were finally on you. I was so happy to finally meet you.

Danimal your hugs are better then 1000 bears! Your an absolute sweetheart and look wonderful with your little sweetie!

I want to add one final thought as a woman attending NEST alone. It is a very well moderated gathering and I never once felt uncomfortable, everyone was very careful and made sure I was well taken care of. I can't say enough what a wonderful bunch of folks. I will be considering you all old friends now!

On another sad note, McGyver Tklr's dad died Thursday, after a long bout with cancer.

My sincerest condolences to McGyver and the rest of his family.
I may not be able to relate to a "dad" dying other than my grandfather who was more of a dad to me than my real father whom I never really knew but having been through watching the rest of my immediate family loose their battles with cancer, I can certainly relate to that in general both personally and professionally.

For what it is worth, MCGyv, he is finally at peace and at rest.

I'd like to thank everyone again who made this such a great weekend...

Max and Jan... thanks for all your hard work and hospitality...both in the midst of moving no less. The rest of the gang too..You guys are terrific! Thanks again for a great weekend!

For the old friends...you know who you are and how much we love you guys. It was great to see everyone again. It's been too long!!!

For the new ones...it was a pleasure getting to know you a bit. We look forward to deepening friendships.

For those we didn't get to play with (or would like to have played with more)...next year! 😉

For those who couldn't make it this year...you were missed. We hope to see you next time.

Drew, Ray, Tracy and I got in Friday afternoon. From the time we arrived until we left this morning, we kept running into old friends and making new ones. And, of course, we did plenty of tickling too! In short, it was a normal NEST...great people and great fun. While I'm definitely more a lee than a ler, my favorite part of the main gathering was when a few of us gals tortured the hell out of Drew to try to get him to say "the brotherhood sucks". (He and some of the guys refer to themselves as the brotherhood.) I've NEVER seen him so resolute in not giving in. I soooo was proud of him...even though I WAS one of the ones trying to break him.

For those who haven't been to a NEST gathering before and have wondered how you'd like it (especially those who enjoy the LEE side)...

I originally came into the tickling community as a way to deal with a fear of tickling. Even though I'd loved it since childhood, I also had a tremendous fear of it as a result of an incident that took place in my college years. Meeting folks online and talking about tickling was one thing. Trusting those same people (and others whom I didn't know at all) to play safely was another. When we attended our first NEST in 2002, I got a chance to see first hand how much fun I could have and how safe I was. Last year and this year simply acted to confirm that trust. Nobody did anything without permission and all were very good about asking before doing anything they were unsure of. You WILL be safe if you ever decide to go. But, even without play (which is always your choice to join in as much or as little as you like), NEST is a great place to meet like-minded folks and just have a good time being ourselves. I highly recommend it.

Now, I've got to go taunt Drew about the brotherhood. I'm going through tickle withdrawal. 😀

Back home

This year was my first gathering ever and all I can say is WOW! I had an absolute blast and was almost depressed to leave and come back home. I was so nervous to attend and didn't exactly know what to expect even after reading posts from previous years but I couldn't have felt any safer or more welcome by all the people there. There were some people I didn't get a chance to meet but everyone seemed genuinely accepting and great.

Jan and Max, you rock, put one hell of a gathering on. I'm addicted now, lol. And I have to wait another year for this, shame 🙁

Hey John, I lived through my "initiation", what a cutie you are though 😀

And Alvin, all I can say is you got yours

Spenser and Lady M, I can't say enough how much I enjoyed getting to know you, you both are really special people. Spenser, thanks for the massage and my session on Sunday night. I hope to keep in contact with you guys.

Due to Thunderstorms we're still in Philly and booked on a flight in the morning to head back to California!

the Post NEST Blues... boy it hits so hard each year. Meeting up with long time friends and meeting all the new friends year after year and then having to head home! Philly is my second home and has been designated as my second home since my first NEST! It's that sudden stop to the fun and having to go so far away. I HATE this part.

and know what... I guess I'd better log off because I'm gonna get it.... DARN IT! LOL

I'll write more tomorrow when I get home.

I'm just SO blown away by this weekend. Such incredible people. So much fun. So much laughter both forced and not. I'll post later some of the other funny things heard at NEST this year and more details. I DO want to say that each year we have a "first" something. This year's FIRST was that there were more men who got it than the women! I've never seen or heard so many men screaming, begging and howling at one time. Oh it was music to my ears! Especially when I'd come up on a scene and see the panic and fear in their eyes and hear the..."OH GOD NO... NOT QB!" Ah it's good to be Queen! LOL

Just a quick thank you to Jan, Andy, Dan, Lee, Max(sorry we missed you this morning, buddy), and the rest of the great crew respondsible for yet another awesome NEST!!
While the actual gathering is always the highlight, the best part of the weekend is meeting up with a terrific group of friends and hanging out.
Of coarse, this year was especially fun being attacked by my darling wife Ann, Venraya, Desdamona, Lite, and..........Jan!!
To all the folks who didn't make it this year but are thinking about next years NEST....this is a great group of people who you can feel comfortable with and who watch out for the safety of everyone during any play going on. And they just have a natural gift for making you feel welcome.
Oh, and a big shout-out to John, had a great time hanging out and gabbing with you on Sunday night, my friend. What else can I say but:
