NESTS and Munches

Sorry to bother everyone but being new I am interested in learning what are Munches and NESTS.

Better than a long explanation I might suggest you scroll down on the home page to the Gatherings section and click onto the Nest thread. Go back a page or two and read anyone's description of NEST or their first NEST. It's easier this way and you can take your time reading the different experiences. My First NEST in Pictures is a crowd pleaser and I tell of my first time meeting these wonderful people.

and a munch is a local get together, no tickling involved, where people go out to dinner or some other fun activity and just chat about tickling or vanilla stuff. many people in different states host munches--so there is probably one near you!

Munches from what I gather are people interested in tickling getting together to have dinner or lunch and talking about their tickling experiences or other things but no tickling goes on there.

NEST is a major gathering once a year that people singles, and couples get together for a weekend someplace have workshops and dinner and lots of getting to know each other and some tickling goes on in public and in private I think by anyone who wants to participate in them. Of course not all people who go to NEST get to tickle someone or get tickled it depends on you if you want to participate and if they people you want to play with allow you to play or not. Just be yourself and get to know the people at NEST and you will be fine. As a lady you will have no problems making friends at NEST or a Munch. In any case have fun.

I have never been to a NEST or a Munch because I am always working but have wanted to go to one. I have been able to meet members from this forum on a one to one basis either singles or couples but never have I been able to attend a gathering of any sort yet.

I would suggest going to a munch before a nest to get yourself comfortable first. i myself am limited to public appearances due to being a high profile politician.

On topic..........I've been to NEST in 2007 and two meetings that were officially labeled munches.

In my opinion, meeting people from the site or in the BDSM community is a life experience you should not miss out on at some point in your life. I always have an excellent time when I'm out with someone who shares in the kink. Even if it's just dinner and dessert.

That which has always been private for you can be shared with someone free of judgment in any regular passing conversation.

The TTS holds monthly munches here in Tampa. We usually meet for dinner to relax and have some laughs and just hangout. They are always fun.

Both are good fun. This community has some great people in it. Kered made a great suggestion earlier. Check out the gatherings section and see whats out there. Maniac said to start with a Munch and that is not a bad idea. It will help you get to know a few members over a nice lunch somewhere. If you ever have some questions, shoot me a PM.
