What's up with this bloke?

It was nary a couple of months ago (weeks?) when this villainous character was spazzing out in his usual semi-demented, anti-spelling, punctuation and grammar style when, one day, all of a sudden...

BAM!! (Emeril Legassi style)

We have Professor Tron online. Houston...we have a scholar?

All of a sudden, I'm reading posts that are knocking my socks off with wisdom and knowledge...punctuation, grammar and spelling offering themselves up like a drunken cheerleader at The Prom.

Did this guy get married? Is this really a "New Tron" or have some of yous seen this transfomation b4...is it cyclical or lunar dependent?

Enquiring minds with no lives offline want to know...😛

All this hooey aside, though: Kudos Tron, for these surprising efforts. They are appreciated and a pleasure to read.

Yes i think old tronny has mellowed a little, me and him used to go at each other pretty hard a while back, but he has always shown respect. He never resorts to direct personal abuse, or foul language just for the sake of it. He always has something interesting to say, even thought its not always coming out of the right end of his body!

But as a brit, I do enjoy his blunt direct style, and he makes me laugh with his put downs.

For The Record...

All my posts are brilliant, regardless of style. Usually I tend to write in engineeringese. I'm used to having to write that way.

I've always believed if one watches what one says, then one won't get anything of worth said. Thus the bluntness. Maybe it comes from reading so much damn British history LOL.

But to affirm what red indian said. I don't take what people say here as being a personal assault on me. I might swear, and get somewhat personal, but it's not out of malice or hate. Usually it's to make a point.

i have always said he was a smart guy, and respected him. still do, inspite of the other thread where he and i are going at it hammer and tong. too many people around here can't see past their own prespectives to see that others, who feel differently, are in fact good, and intelligent people.

I have found over the last 2 years that I have agreed and disagreed with just about everyone I have come in contact with. Makes from some pretty good discussions and is a lesson in learning for all of us.

It is also surprising to me that upon meeting people outside the forum that I thought I might have a problem with , that it didnt go that way at all. I have met many who I have disagreed with on line that were really great folks once I got to met them face to face.

Keep in mind that what we put in posts is only a small part of our
persona and should be taken for what it is worth.

LOL What do you mean about my posting something from the left? My stance on gays, and freedom of individual choice actually puts me in the middle. Someone on the left does NOT believe in freedom of individual choice. A Leftist believes in society as a whole making the SAME choice, vice government leading a society to a conclusion. I suggest you do a tad bit more study on what left vs right mean.

I do agree with your thoughts on Shining Ice. My biggest problem with him is he doesn't think at all. He regurgitates whatever is fed him. That doesn't make him any different than most Americans. But it is sad.
