For the first time since 1982, I bought a new bed. It has been delivered and set up. See below for a photo from the store's website.

Can you guess why I chose that style of headboard and footboard?

Congrats on your new brass bed. Now-and I mean this seriously, make sure you use rubber washers between the pieces and additional locknuts on the bolts when you assemble it to stop the thing creaking or rattling at inopportune moments. 😈

Actually they assembled it for me as part of the delivery. The heads of the bolts have hexagonal holes (neither ordinary nor phillips head) and were driven in by a power tool. No creaks so far. 😀 I may post bondage pictures next week.

Hey, I've always liked Colonial-style furniture too! 🙂

I've always wondered why they've never made beds with say, motorcycle-style shock absorbers! 🙂

I want a bondage bed...I used to have a cast iron frame bed with large bars.

This one has wooden posts but iron bars. She put both to good use.
