New drug may keep you sober no matter how much you've had to drink

I'm guessing most of you guys dont drink. What's the point of this drug!?! You party, get buzzed. Before bed pop your pill and wake up great! Wash rinse recycle. No need to drive home, I'd still take a cab. Would I drink more, no. But the day after I do can be spent doing something productive like working out and studying, volunteering instead of nursing a hangover.

I don't like the taste of alcohol at all...there's only one reason I do drink...to get that buzz...remove that aspect of getting drunk what's the point?

Well, from what I understand it only inhibits the negative sensory effects of being drunk but not the damage it can do to your system. I'd do something productive the next day for sure but probably not work out as my system would still be full of toxins.

It's being developed right now. In fact, after it's finished they'll probably start working on a drug that counter-effects the damage caused to your liver. Millions of dollars spent which could've been saved if only this suggestion was followed more: Drink in moderation.

I had a blast last night...had a bunch of drinks and shots...had this pill existed last night I would have taken it on my ride home and feel great right now! I'd go for a 3 mile run. Workout and study.

But alas. The pill does not exist. I will nurse my hangover till 4pm...at which I will be hosting a party at my house. That first drink will likely postpone my hangover till tomorrow.

Pill=efficiency no pill=waste of time

Sure a hangover is the mark of a great time....but why should having a great time have a downside. Trust me, there's a market for this. I'd pay 15 bucks a pill if it made my current hangover go away.
