That's why I personally wouldn't ask for mass feedback...it will inevitably generate a huge number of conflicting opinions/preferences as to what should be produced in future.

I love these threads!! For my own depraved reasons I'll admit, but they do always make me think three things in particular:

1) The poster(s) and their sympathizers seem never to even consider the fact the elements missing or present in clips which they view as a negative, are seen by at at least an equal opposite number as a positive by their very presence/omission.

2) They aren't really looking. There are more producers and more content available now than at any other time. I remember one thread which complained of a lack of x type clips, and in less than 3 minutes I located 5-10 studios with those exact type of Rrrrrclips available.

3) Some folks' "tipping point" has grown so refined, basically the margin of what meets their criteria has shrunk to the point almost no production has a chance of measuring up. Diminishing utility for the win!

Really, I suppose it just means their preferences are in the minority, which I can see kinda sucks.

Bottom line: The golden age of our fetish is over. The best producers sold off or sold out, and everyone now is simply imitating what was already achieved. Someone needs to come along and change the game.

I think you're right on all three points. It's amazing that people will claim that all clips are basically the same when it is plain to see that there is far more diverse content right now than there has ever been (incidentally, people have been making the same claim for years).

It seems that most of these claims are based around the output of one or two key stores that they feel have become repetitive or use the same models, but that doesn't reflect the actual range of content produced across the thousands of stores making tickling clips today. Neither does the content on Pornhub, which is where I suspect the majority of these complaints originate (since the posts usually start by saying 'I haven't bought a clip in years...').

Not neccessarily in the minority - plenty of people like tickle videos with a story and a script, however cheesy that may be. But plenty of other people dislike them and prefer clips that are just tickling without the distraction of scripted responses and plot lines. You will find routinely find people complaining about both types of clip, even though both probably sell just as well as each other.




Because plenty of people like M/F and F/M tickling and will buy those clips. It's personal preference - just not your personal preference, but a large number of people do prefer it to F/F tickling or enjoy both. A lot of guys buy clips and like to put themselves in the position of the tickler, and not everyone is grossed out by the presence of a male in a clip (consider the overwhelming amount of B/G content in vanilla porn). Bottom line: if clips with men in them didn't sell then hardly anyone would be making them 😉

Thank you for your feedback very few clips store producers care enough to reply to such threads or post. For the last 18 months to 2 years I've been expressing how I feel about the current state of the tickling industry here at TMF and most clip store producers dismiss it as if "oh well nothing we can do" you at least express how you feel and how you like to do things for your clip store and website.

I can respect that sentiment as someone's take on things. I disagree with it though, because not only is there more content than ever (ok, I"ll even give credit to the "quantity up, but quality is way down" rebuttal), but there is also I believe more money being made than ever! Especially if you factor in the rise of the instagram fetish models and their skype/custom/premade pricing. Again, even if you don't believe the quality is any good - SOMEBODY is buying these materials. Actually quite a few bodies are!

Ding Ding Ding! We have another winner!! I really feel like half (conservatively) of the malcontents actually mean "Every video without Tasha or Brooke is trash.." And several years before that, insert Priscilla James in place of Tasha/Brooke. Some folks stopped caring about the NBA after Michael Jordan retired. People like what they like. *shrug*

A Solution?

Not everyone is of the mind, but personally, if I felt like my requests/preferences were not being served by the present businesses, and backing that up by withholding my business/money wasn't having any effect, I'd do something proactive. There have to be at least 10 people (again conservatively), who are unsatisfied with the current state of tickling clips being produced. These 10 used to spend monthly amounts and are not averse to spending custom money as long as they get what they want. So you used to spend $50 a month and now spend nothing. In 2 months, that's $1000.00 between the 10. Throw in an average of $150 each for a custom and that's another $1500.00. In 2 months, that's $2500.00. Surely one among the 10 can come up with a script all could agree on? If not, perhaps look through the stories section and obtain permission from the author to film clips based on the story. One of you could probably direct and that's more than enough money to hire models and someone to shoot. Of course if you're thinking of casting Sandy Bullock in "Tickle Box" where she sees and alien that makes her tickle blind people (oops, sorry, only the women right?) to death - well it may take a couple more months of funding. Point being, nonetheless, it's something. Chances are there are quite a few people who'd buy such a clip if it were made available.

Even one person saving $50@month for 18 months is $900. Trust me, I've shot 2 models, acting out a cheesy script and tickling each other for considerably less. Anyway, just a thought.

I could never speak for all producers, but I do know that generally a producer has a fairly specific vision for the material they produce, which gets fine tuned over time. If other producers' experiences have been anything like mine ( and I know at least a few that have), I can relate to the mentality or at least the perceived mentality you speak of above. Every time. And I mean EVERY TIME I have gone out of my way to placate or cater to something specific suggested in e-mails and feedback and non-custom requests, every single time, the sales went ----\________ (That's fancy graphics for a dip). I mean nothing. Usually not even from the people who asked for it! After the 4th or 5th time this happens, as a producer you really do sort of develop a "Yeah right. Uh huh" attitude, any time you hear "...producers should do more ABC, why don't they ever XYZ?"

Not saying this has been your experience or the experience of producers you've been in contact with, just some perspective.

I appreciate your feedback, My problem is that what the foot fetish and tickling fetish industry we as customers rely on clip store producers or website owners to provide as much content that satisfies our foot fetish/tickling fetish needs the problem that I'm running into there are not enough clip stores or websites that do so. I like to think that we've reached a point in In the world that foot/tickling fetish is just as common as people who like butts, legs, and breast but it seems like that is not the case. Again It could be my opinion but back to my point as a customer who has a specific fetish I'm relying on the clip store producers and website producers to provide as much product as they can to make me happy and it just seems like the producers are getting away from making as many customers they can happy they're just doing what they like again could be my opinion I could be 100% wrong but like I've said multiple times on the forum I am spending a lot less of a considerable amount of money than in years past.

I have always accepted feedback and suggestions. I’m in the middle of transitions in both this industry and my career at the same time. My main issue is that my models are real friends or people off the street. Been doing that since 2009. That being said. Friends move away, it gets harder to get in touch with locals because of other things going on. (Craigslist crackdown on ads) etc... I’m working on that.

As someone who appreciates buying clips from producers (the tickle room knows I do) there is still great content out there. But, people tastes change as I am learning. Piracy makes it hard for me to find girls that aren’t in the industry to want to participate in fear of being found out and harassed by creeps. And professional models in my area want way too much money to shoot with. Kind of a rock and a hard place if you can’t hit the ground running.

You're welcome - always happy to share a perspective. I actually think it is entirely possible that what you feel "isn't" happening, has in fact "already" happened! Producers have done/are doing just that, it's just that you've part of a minority that isn't catered to so much any more. I'm sure there are people who love Sarsaparilla, but the only choices they have when they go out are Coke/Pepsi, Sprite/7-up, Dr. Pepper/Mr. Pibb, Fanta, Minute Maid and Ice Tea. Maybe rootbeer, but rootbear isn't sarsaparilla exactly.

This x This. If you were/are a producer who really hangs your hat on the non-pro/gal next door type, this is real. And they move or can be unreliable or start dating someone who isn't ok with the work, but really that exposure thing is a killer.

Tickling clips just aren't as good as they use to be. Too many non-ticklish to barely ticklish women, too much overrating or bad acting, too much reliance on gimmicks like brushes. There's still a few good places like Tickle Therapy, but the majority are trash. Nothing compared to Classic TA or A.N.A.

When I started purchasing clips with consistency, the overwhelming majority of my purchases were clips that dated back at least a year. Really from that point on, outside of a couple recent releases here and there, my purchases have mainly been older clips. Clips from (2007-2013). And I purchase tickle clips and bellybutton clips, so I'm not just going after the tickle producers on this. I've become very skeptical of purchasing clips from C4S honestly. Because sometimes the description is a tad misleading, the camera angles aren't good, there's too much talking, the cameraman is all up in the video, basically the clip isn't what you expect. And there have been times where after purchasing a clip, I end up deleting it because it was incredibility disappointing and I actually regretted buying it.

In mid-2015, with hardly any C4S clips sparking my interest, I decided I'd see what a custom video was like. I ordered one, but the scheduled shoot date had to be pushed back a couple weeks because the model had a family emergency. During those couple weeks, I saved up more and placed another order with the same producer and model. So my first time seeing what a custom was like, I was gonna get two customs. Eversince I got those customs, I've been putting more of my focus towards custom orders. Every now and then if I see a clip that looks good at C4S, I'll take the risk and purchase it, but I'd say that 9/10 times when it comes to fetish content, my money goes towards customs. They can be pricey, but when you're able to get something just the way you want it, it can be very worth it.

While I'm sure some producers will be put off by this narrative, I agree that in the past, creativity seemed more common.

Take, for example, the old "Predator and Prey" series released by a long defunct site called TickleTown. They would identify attractive girls in public, and then video record them being recruited to be paid for tickling videos. No doubt a pretty inefficient process, (of course, we never saw footage of the girls who said "no"), and some of the approaches even seemed a little bit staged, but when they really hit it the results were truly original. These girls had no instinct to exaggerate.

Or take the Tickling-Post series that featured legitimate hypnosis sessions where extremely attractive girls were tickled hypnotically. I'm a hypnotist myself, and there's no doubt that the inductions were real.

Or TickleCentral's "Bedspread Tickling" series, where girls would be repeatedly verbally teased and asked the same series of questions, and virtually any response resulted in tickling. Their reactions made it completely clear that they'd never been shown the other videos in the series. They all seemed like girls next door, not porn stars, (even though I suppose some may have fooled me).

Even TickleChallenge tried to be different. While it eventually became clear that the girls were play acting that they didn't know the "rules" of the games in advance, (Him: "You're going to remove an article of clothing each time you let go." Her: "Hmmm... okay." Really?), at least it was creatively trying to be different.

These are just the series that I liked -- you may like others -- but the larger point is about creativity. The typical videos these days, if I may generalize, seem as if they were made in a factory, where two lines of low-budget porn stars queue up -- one girl strapped into something and exaggerating her reactions -- the other girl doing the "athletic tickling" without sexual energy, nor verbal teasing, nor enthusiasm.

My advice (which sells for 2 cents): If new producers want to make more money, be different.
Even repeating one of these old ideas, (call it an "homage" if you like). while it wouldn't exactly be original, would certainly help a producer stand out. Or think of something new.
