Hi everyone. Lately, I've decided to express my interest in tickling via 3d graphics, and have made a deviant art page pursuant to this. I've only got a couple of pictures post-worthy so far, but I thought since the first of them is directly relevant, I'd post it here. I hope you like it.

This is the link!

PS: Is it proper to post a link to an image like this? Should I have attached it locally? I didn't immediately see anything regarding rules related to this kind of thing, but if I've done something wrong and someone lets me know about it, I'll fix it. Thanks.

Excellent render! I especially like the way you use the light coming through the venetian blinds to cause that really neat shadow effect.
Very well done.

Hi. Thanks a lot. I'm glad you like it. I was quite pleased with the way the shadowing came out.

Another thing I found pretty cool about your pic was the way you used d-formers (at least that's what they're called in daz studio) to rumple up the blanket. I never thought much about using d-formers before, now that I see the type of effect you can get, I'm definitely experimenting with them myself.

As you may tell... I'm a noob at this. Anywho... I'm looking forward to seeing more of your work.

Again, thank you. I'm glad you like it. I'm using Poser 7 (which is pretty out-dated by now... lol) to pose the characters, but I'm afraid I don't have any experience with daz studio. My 3D background is in using 3ds Max. I used the "Freeform" tools of 3ds Max to push and pull the blanket into roughly the shape I wanted. I suspect a similar effect can be achieved with the d-formers you mentioned.

Thanks again for the comments. I appreciate it!

That was an excellent piece of art my friend. I have no talent for graphics what so ever so I love it when people post their work. Keep them coming.

I'm not usually into 3d art, but you've got a lot of talent.

@MatrinZachs Thanks for the kind words. I hope to keep them coming.

@Tiger Glad to help draw you in to the medium.

Really they look more like intricate claymation then 3d renderings how do you do it?

Haha, I'm not sure what to say. It took a long time to get the lighting the way I thought would look best. Perhaps that's it? Hate to be immodest 😉

I'm glad you like it.
