New York's "Pause" as WABC TV is calling it. (The Stay At Home Order) has been extended by NY Governor Andrew Cuomo until May 15.

This is not surprising.

Not surprising at all. And it'll probably go past that. People in South Korea who already had the virus are testing positive for it again. Until there's a vaccine, this is going to drag on and on. I don't know if people have fantasies of going and hanging out in a movie theatre or a bar, but I sure as hell ain't doing it. They don't even have widespread, reliable testing. "Re-opening" the economy resupposes people are just going to risk their lives for crap pay so that someone else can sleep on a nice feather bed. My job IS open, they even gave us all (temporary) raises....and we've still lost six workers already, who just don't want to show up. And who can blame them.....

A coherent, competent federal response would be nice, but that ain't happening any time soon, either, lol

Unfortunately, the earliest we will (Hopefully) have a new president is in January.

That might be the earliest that we have a coherent federal response to this as well.
