Welcome! I'm not new to the fetish, but I am new to indulging. In fact, just the other day I wrote about my first, and to this point, only tickling experience. You can read it here

As far as being nervous, I totally understand. My advice would be to confide in someone you really trust. If you have a partner you are close enough to, or in my case, a trusted friend, just talk with them. If you approach it the right way, I really think whoever you confide in will be open minded, I mean who can blame you for wanting to explore? But that's just my take. Good luck to you!

Welcome to the TMF. Lots of wonderful people here. It's nice to see that you've found yourself here. Take your time; everyone here is giving you good advice. Trust and comfort are important. 1. I'd tickle them! You just might find yourself in a tickle fight with someone else who's into tickling, or at least likes tickling you. You could pick up on each other's signals fast enough and before you know it, that person could be tying you down for a tickling session.

2. Search this web site for gatherings in your area, where the safety of a group meeting will help you meet fellow tickle people. Or answer ads in the personal ad section of the T.M.F. - and if one-on-one meeting spooks you, assuming there's a friend who would understand your need to be tickled, have that person chaperone until you feel safe with your tickler. (Who knows, maybe the friend will offer to tickle you!)
 
I think the next step is to find other like-minded people so you've wandered into the right place. I don't think there is a right way to approach telling a signifigant other, some say its best to be honest from the beginning, some say wait until your comfortable with each other...basically, its whenever you feel the time is right. I completely understand about you being nervous...im kinda in the same situation.I have been on here for many years but i have never met up with anyone and im not really sure how id feel just meeting up with someone.

Personally what i am going to do is get talking to the members here and find out more about them...get to know eachother before meeting. That way you feel like you know and understand that person enough to trust that they will take it to your speed...That could mean you just meet once for playful tickles just to see how you feel. Then move on to other things once you feel comfortable.

Otherwise, maybe speak to a close friend or partner and maybe share a few tickles to see how comfortable you really are in that situation.

There are plenty of other people who understand and we all welcome you to talk about it to us or any other worries you may have.

Remember just take it slow and be comfortable first 🙂
